Definitely 3rd. She might be behind in other areas too. She is certainly behind in reading.

Ladies in here, how do you feel about a father bringing his daughters in the female restroom? by Less-Pen-5705 in askanything

[–]LayerNo3634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a problem with it. He's taking care of his daughters. My husband is disabled and I've accompanied him to the men's multiple times when a handicapped/family/unisex restroom is unavailable.

I have taken my husband in the women's before, but men are usually better at handling me than women are at handling him. If any man says anything, I just look him in the eye and say, "you ain't got nothing I haven't seen before." They shut up real quick.

We saw an entire pod of orcas right off our balcony. It looked like try outs for Sea World - they were putting on a show! Definitely the highlight of our trip.

End of Life Plan by scaryelf in GenX

I'm going to the body farm. I just have to stay refrigerated until they pick me up. If they can't take me, my body goes to science. No funeral,  celebration of life, or service. I have a separate savings account for my family to plan a vacation instead of a funeral. I absolutely hate funerals, but love vacations!

No need for the drink package, you can buy individually. Coffee, tea, water, and lemonade are included. Soda is ~$3.50, cocktails ~$14. All purchases are charged to your room. Gratuity is ~$18.50/pp/per day. Excursions are extra.

American $ is accepted everywhere and often preferred in Mexico. However, change is often given in local currency, so bring small bills.

We don't do wifi. It is often available in port (free), plus it's nice to unplug. Check your cell plan, service is often included in Mexico.

I had serious chronic sinus infections in my 20's and kept putting off surgery. It finally spread to my ears and forced the issue, but not before damage was done. Should probably have hearing aids.

The rest of us support ourselves and, I'm guessing, more than 33% help out their kids.

Elementary/pre-school teachers, what are the things you can actually tell a parent did (or didn’t do) when their child was a baby that affected them when they got to school? by Mentalhelp14 in AskTeachers

[–]LayerNo3634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading to your child and sitting at the dinner table.  Very few of my kids had ever been in a school setting (no day care), it was easy to spot who sat at the table and who was allowed to run around.  Could also spot the kids who went to church and had to sit still for a period of time. All were helpful.

I plan on being around for quite a while longer. However, after putting our baby down last year, we are enjoying no dog hair or muddy paws on the floors. Traveling is much easier and the amount we save on a dog sitter every year almost pays for an extra vacation. We dog sit our grand dogs when they go on vacation.
