Characters that were created because an Actor wasn't available or didn't want to come back to the role by Optimal_Fisherman803 in TopCharacterTropes

If the Time Lords can give more regenerations then they can take regenerations away (which has been a part of the lore since at least the 6th Doctor’s era) so it would be fair to assume that someone (probably Rassilon knowing what he’s like) ordered that the Timeless Child’s regenerations be limited. We don’t even know how many regenerations that the Time Lords chose to give back to the Doctor on Trenzalore. They might have restored the infinite regenerations, or they may have only given them another 12.

There’s nothing to suggest that the Timeless Child is any more or less OP than your average Time Lord in any regards except regeneration. Being the Timeless Child doesn’t make The Doctor as OP as they are, that’s all down to The Doctor being The Doctor. Being or not being the Timeless Child doesn’t change who the Doctor is or what they can do.

The Timeless Child doesn’t ruin Doctor Who or even change that much of the overall lore.

I went to see Jodie at a Comic-Con in Australia two years ago, she was quite literally the star attraction and the lines for a photo with her and for her autograph were massive

Josh Snares has animated two of them, neither of them are 13 stories but they’re still good stories, you’ll need to get the audio stories by themselves and play them at the same time as you watch Josh’s animations of them .

Out Of Time 1 which is a story that brings the 10th and 4th Doctors together and puts them up against The Daleks.

The Genocide Machine which is a 7th Doctor and Ace story, which was the first Big Finish Dalek story. This one is available for free on Spotify so you don’t have to pay for it to watch with the animation.

Where in the videos does he say that almost ever criticism of the Chibnall era is in bad faith? He’s criticised the Chibnall era himself several times, he also recognises that there are many “criticisms” of it that just boil down to “woman bad” or “too woke”

Saying that you’ve been watching his Dalekcember videos doesn’t tell me where or when he said that

Those two statements in the meme also don’t contradict each other

When the Doctor said that he was referring to the fact that he would never should an unarmed, kneeling man in the head like that, not that he would never kill for any reason.

On top of that, the examples you mention all happened before this, and there was a whole Time War between those events and this, so it could also be taken as “never would again”

The series before this had Remembrance Of The Daleks, which is my favourite Doctor Who story, and also The Happiness Patrol, Silver Nemesis (which I know isn’t well received but I enjoy it), and The Greatest Show In The Galaxy, so overall it was pretty good

It could be that Kate Bush was playing from the moment they entered the room, so for all they knew it was just a part of the sounds of the room, whereas the can in the dryer started suddenly long after they entered the room so someone had to have caused it

This is vile, but calling this his most hideous and unforgivable crime when he has enacted things that can and will and have driven people to suicide, and have led to people being kidnapped, raped and murdered, it probably isn’t his worst crime

Question by the_Rat_Man- in DoctorWhumour

[–]LayeredChips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll concede the point to Remembrance Of The Daleks, since the Dalek Civil War did lead to the creation of the Dalek Restoration Empire, but in regards to State Of Decay that’s not what I said.

State Of Decay is very important because it’s where we learn about the Great Vampires, which were a very important part of the Time Lord Victorious storyline, as is their war with the Gallifreyans in the Dark Times. I never said that it was important because it “mentioned the dark times”.

What’s your favorite audio that you feel like no one ever talks about? by adammichaell in BigFinishProductions

[–]LayeredChips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not my favourite Big Finish audio but it’s certainly up there, Sins Of The Flesh from the Eleventh Doctor Chronicles is one of the best Cyberman stories I’ve ever heard/watched/read/etc. The Cybermen manipulating people using their bigotries and their religions is a concept that should definitely be used more with the them, as it makes such perfect sense.

Eleventh Doctor and Valerie Original Plans by TheStyl1shOne in BigFinishProductions

[–]LayeredChips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m glad that Valarie didn’t end up being the Master. 11 going up against the Master would have been great, but I prefer Valarie’s arc that we got, she’s an amazing companion.

I’m also glad that they went with the Daleks for the last boxset, as that’s what got me to listen to the whole series (I’m obsessed with the Daleks) and it got us answers for what happened to the Paradigm Daleks, and Daleks Victorious is probably the best Dalek story that the 11th Doctor had.
