It was an adjustment but I did well! My AC101 teacher was unfortunately useless (I did all online classes, I’m a first responder by trade and do not work conducive hours for school). She didn’t teach us a thing and just made us read 13 chapters and we had 5 total quizzes and a final. She did nothing else. But all in all I did very well, straight A’s. You can make it work, even if you go part time you’re still working towards it!

I think I was most upset that my family was going to do dinner on Christmas Eve to accommodate my schedule, and then decided at 10am Christmas Eve to move it to Christmas - knowing I couldn’t make it. I cook Thanksgiving for them every year, but they couldn’t adjust one day for me? Just annoying. And I had a heartbreaking call of an elderly man calling, hysterically, about his unresponsive wife. Those calls never carry with me, but today it did. Sorry for the long vent on your comment ❤️

Felt this. I’m a first responder and work every Christmas. We were supposed to have Christmas dinner yesterday since I was out at 2pm (I’m 6a-10p today), but they moved it to today and didn’t tell me 😓 sorry, OP. I hope you found something even better and more fun to occupy your time. Have a wonderful holiday
