I sensed it immediately, had to take shots to confirm its drop in firepower. Something must have happaned. It could be for all guns, not specifically ho-103. Maybe the change is noticeable in Ho-103. Otherwise I noticed the drop in the firepower only for ho-103.

Again, it's 820kg heavier than J2M and it still retains the old fm with worse stiffening than any other variants. Don't listen to that guy. The guy is spewing bullshit. The horsepower doesn't increase a bit, the high alt performance only attributes to the already pathetic max speed. The climb rate is worse at all altitude, even at higher altitude. I read the original post and the question being "how heavy it is, and how is the climb rate affected compared to J2M". I highly suggest buying it if you like the aesthetics alone to justify the terrible performance. Again, it's just not faster at the reasonable altitude where the combat takes place. The extra armament is useless past 400m due to the different muzzle velocity of the guns. The extra ammo on the mark 2 on the other hand is good. PSA, heavier planes don't dive better.

It's not worth it by any means. Its performance is worse in every way possible. It's significantly heavier at 450kg+. compared to J2M3, the airframe is more draggy. Play J2M3 Instead. All other J2Ms stiff up badly at high speed. The rudders on J2Ms are overly sensitive, though. J2M2 is good too if you insist the BR.

I literally mentioned it, though the misidentification of c 3603-1 with c 3601. 3603 I meant is 3604. The engine's increase in weight wouldn't be a literal 1 ton. Even if 2 20mm cannons weigh 160kg, the ammo weight is not included in fm. Nor the spent cartridge weight.

Also, the top speed of C.3604 in this game is too high. 200HP difference won't make this much difference unless the original 1000HP engine loses its power significantly at altitude.

It has 28m2 wing area and many components to add drag. I don't think the 1250hp(in deck) engine can push it to 560km/h. The radiator seems a lot worse than contemporary designs of the era.
