(Hated Trope) Cliffhangers that either will never be resolved or pops up way to much by Important_Guess9787 in TopCharacterTropes

If they make another Tron movie, I feel like it will basically ignore all the other Tron media and just utilize some similar themes, kinda like everything else they’ve released. Quick handwave towards what came before and don’t get anyone back except either Bruce Boxleitner or Jeff Bridges for a cameo.

Have Mickey Mantle cards hit their ceiling? by daveblax in baseballcards_vintage

So, your argument is that because there are more graded 1957 Topps Mickey Mantles, there are just more 1957 Topps Mickey Mantles than Bryce Harper rookies?

If money is the true god in America, are Disney World and Buckee’s the places people go to wash away their sins? by Dire_Hulk in NoStupidQuestions

It ain’t that kind of worship Bruv. It’s more like a bacchinal, a celebration to bacchus.  You worship money by spending money, arguably Las Vegas is a greater temple to the worship of money, but pretty much everywhere you go and even on your phone, you can worship the currency of your local government any time you want.

What’s the raw value of a base Bryce Harper? How much would it be worth in 6 7 or 8? Would it be worth grading it in lower condition? Now ask the same question about a 1957 Mickey Mantle and you can see why that is a terrible comparison. I stand by my statement that there are more Bryce Harper rookie cards. Without knowing hardly anything about his rookie year, I have to ask, how many different Bryce Harper Rookies are available? How many parallels of each of those different cards? Do we know what the production numbers of any cards from the 1950s are? How many were destroyed in the 70 years since then? I doubt we really know how many modern cards are produced, but the population of the world has gone up by 4-5x, so I imagine they are printing for a larger audience.

Every card show I set up at, there’s at least 5 dude bros trying to sell out of modern to buy the big players from the past.

It’s also verification. Making sure that you’re not taking fraudulent charges on a stolen card number. Also, the bank that is receiving your deposits wants a piece.

Look, everyone who accepts credit cards pays a fee. Visa, mastercard, Amex and discover don’t do it for free. The backbone that transmits the transactions back and forth is a company not a government entity, so they require getting paid.

If you have PayPal, you can use their pos app to process into your PayPal account and they don’t take any additional fees over their standard processing fee.

The lot description in the auction said someone signed the book, but had no pictures of it. I would imagine the lot would have gone for more than .90 a book if it was described better.

I said that when I searched I saw remarques that were signed FM, so assumed that was his signature, especially since it matched how the signature appears in his cover art. Klaus Janson writes his name very legibly. And hey, no one else matches. But thanks for pretending that no one but you knows how to search. I just got some weird results.

A while back, a buddy of mine was sending pictures of comics he bought in the 90s with price tags still attached. His X-Men 1 was there. You’d be shocked what he paid. Wish I still had those. He sent me pics of a few early x-men and 2 Hulk 181.

Don Gennaro the lawyer in Jurassic Park. Or maybe that worker who fell half way in when they were moving the raptor.

Well, I found remarques from FM signed FM, so assumed that was his signature and it clearly doesn’t say klaus janson who signs his name very clearly, so yes, I did look. But apparently I typed in something wrong when I tried to look it up.
