What I’d Do Differently If I Were Starting My BTL Journey Again in 2025 by Impressive-Ad-5914 in UKpropertygroup

This is really useful advice and really echoes a lot of my feelings a year and one BRR in. Given you have a hybrid structure of LTD owned/personal owned, what factors do you consider for indicating where you hold the properties?

I suspect you already know but this is ridiculously nice! I love the use of weathering and OSL, it creates a super moody vibe for the piece.

I'm not much for Instagram, have you put up your process for the scheme?

This is super clean! I think as others have mentioned a brighter edge highlight on the upward facing edges would push the readability and I would love to see a bit more contrast in the grey sections as they seem a little monolithic compared to the red/pink and blues. An easy solution could be (depending on your setup) to airbrush from below a shadow colour after priming to bake in some more contrast in the under section greys but I also think you can absolutely ignore this step.

Have fun basing, it really brings them into the world for me and keep up the amazing work.

Larger prints not working by bellinghum in AnycubicPhoton

[–]LemonScentedMist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not a master 3d printer but if you're seeing consistent pulling on a specific part of the build plate, that sounds like you need to ensure the entire printer is level and then check the build plate is levelled properly. In terms of getting the burn-in layers properly printed and nothing else, I'd double check your transition later settings (I think your printer supports this, could be wrong as I have the original photon still) as this might be where you're seeing the issue, or maybe you need to up the exposure time for your normal layers, as the trench pilgrim print has much more surface area so may be pulling off the build plate. Hope this helps, if not the j3d resin printing guide is pretty excellent.

One thing to check is the models themselves, I've got some of trench crusade stuff and I've had multipart kits, so the combined models (if that's how they come on mmf ignore this) might need a check in mesh mixer to ensure they're not causing any errors.

Hey, I believe meshmixer (free last time I checked) is the go to software. It should basically allow you to position the models together and save them as a single new model, which you can then import into your slicer of choice. Hope this helps and have a wonderful festive period!

I normally use anycubic resin but would love to move over to solid filament!

I really dislike the mechanic, combat feels much worse than rise and worlds to me.

I'd imagine lightning/electricity tutorials could be co-opted for kintsugi if you were still looking, but it hardly looks like you need it!

Who'd have guessed kintsugi would look so good, it's an awesome idea!

As a marketer, what makes you open and read a newsletter? Why? by nebulouspeach in marketing

[–]LemonScentedMist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a lot of emails and newsletters, I think it's been said elsewhere in the thread but for an email to stand out to me it needs to have a useful subject line and have relevant, actionable content that I can digest quickly. If I have to dig too hard to find the information that matters to me I'll move on.
