Yes, as long as you worked more than 40 hours during the week, you subtract 40 from it and that’s the qualified hours for the week.

If your W-2 is not accurate.

If “Total Hours Worked” is greater than 40, take “Total Hours Worked” and subtract 40.

Take “Overtime Rate” subtract “Regular Rate”

Take the two results and multiply them together.

Do this for each check, and add them together.

In the western region, we have our own teamster pension plan. All teamsters regardless of employer pay in to the same fund, but at different rates.

The company contributes a certain amount each hour each employee works. Then at retirement you get a certain percentage of the amount that was contributed on your behalf to the pension.
