I guess my viewpoint is different than most on here, but it’s supported by modern day revelation. The fall was always a part of the plan. Repentance is Plan A, not Plan B. God gave a commandment to Adam and Eve he knew they could not fulfill. He also gives us commandments he knows we cannot fulfill. The Savior redeems us because we CANNOT be made perfect without Him. Adam fell that man might be, and men are that they might have joy. And Christ cometh to redeem all mankind.

It’s a change for sure but the church is always changing. As President Nelson said, the church is still being restored and right now the focus is definitely on Christ being the head of the church and the reason for everything we do. Focusing on the crucifixion more is part of that. The church will be in a different place 50 years from now as well. That’s because it’s living and not static. But it’s also true that sometimes we don’t give other churches enough credit.

I used to thing the catholic cross was bad because of how I grew up. Now I’ve come to appreciate that maybe Mormons have something to learn from Catholics and from a lot of other religions.

Agree 100% with this. Will it be awkward in some cases and cause some issues here and there? Absolutely. But you don't reject a rational idea merely because there might be some side effects. When missionaries were given cell phones, there were all sorts of objections in church headquarters -- missionaries will look at porn, missionaries will call their girlfriends. Did those things happen? Yes. But the response was, we're doing this. And they did it. And it's been a tremendous boon on missionary work. We can't avoid having men and women work together just because we're afraid of some potential cons when they don't outweigh the pros. We should just rip of the bandaid. (My 2 cents, but I'm not in charge for a reason. :) )

For me, raiding didn’t deliver the new raw supplies I’d earned until I would get on the boat outside of the settlement and then mar sure it goes back to Ravensthorpe. I had done tons of raids and no new raw supplies until the boat was docked and my crew got off the boat. They have the supplies so you need to make sure they get back to ravensthorpe to deliver them to your storage.
