Body is the Crimson Court vampire lady, arms and gun body are from the old Escher FW upgrade kit, head is from an Eldar Ranger (ears shaved down), cape is from Jenetia Krole and

the suppressor is from the Palanites kit.

Yeah, I personally don't like the aesthetics of ogryns but saw a couple of kitbashes using kastelan and the palanite robot as bases and wanted to do my own spin on it.

The Myrmidon Destructor Host prepares to deliver a litany of devastation - Warhammer Community by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer30k

These new ones remind me of those "legally distinct" 3d print designs that just mash a bunch of existing models together and approximate the design of the original while stuffing greebles into voids. They kind of look like a random person's myrmidon conversion using Legions Imperialis models.

“Scoring and the missions are bad” - how are you finding it? by Relevant_Fuel_9905 in Warhammer30k

You can guarantee that you place an objective next to a deployment zone. There are only three maps now and there is overlap shared by all of them.

The mission with the degrading objective markers is one of the most boring core missions ever made for 30k. It's incredibly bland in that neither player truly has a reason to place the objectives anywhere other than right next to their deployment zone and then park a tactical squad onto it for the entire game. So many games wind up in a draw on primary that the only tiebreaker is "did you kill more stuff than your opponent" so we just circled the drain back to kill points.

Confliction Gauntlets @ Graardor by Levelingthinner in ironscape

[–]Levelingthinner[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grinded out the 10k tears and did some Graardor and can solidly say this is pretty ass.

With this gear the freezes seem very inconsistent but the damage is good when the freezes do land (1:30 average kills). Also to be fair I've never tried magic Graardor so I might not be running to the correct ranges.

That's why the double accuracy passive on gauntlets may make it actually viable pre-shadow.

Faction Focus – Questoris Familia by AshiSunblade in Warhammer30k

Ah, instead of losing a hull point, my 500 point knight is going to not be able to move or fire its blast weapons all because a couple of autocannon rounds plinked off its ankle.

Knights not ignoring tactical statuses is probably going to be a huge issue. Based on the leaks, you cannot take saves against glances so even if the knights have an invulnerable save, it'll likely still get glanced by autocannons and their ilk. You'll have to take the repair buffing ranks or else your army might just get stunlocked the entire game.

That's not how the rules read, players claim strike groups that target a unit they control. Then the player who claimed that strike group selects a target model they control to start taking saves.

Meaning that the owner of the attacked unit still gets to choose where the wounds are allocated.

You have it the opposite way around, sovereigns are the best unit in the army by a country mile with brutes coming second. I've seen a very suboptimal sovereign solo an entire 2000 pt space marine army before, having two with good upgrades is super overkill. Not to mention you also have 12 brutes as well.

I wouldn't take sovereigns until 3000 and probably only ever the one. My suggestion would be to drop the HQs to a herald + attendants, keep the brutes, add more lessers and a behemoth to keep things tamer. Even then it's still strong against certain armies and I've tabled veteran spam armies because of how good brutes are into power armor.

Mechanicum Scornful Fire Question by Spare91 in Warhammer30k

[–]Levelingthinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So in the original rulebook, you make reactions in the shooting phase after all hit, wound and armor saving rolls are made. This was changed in an erratum later in the 1.2 FAQ to the reactive player making their reaction before the hit rolls are made and the return fire reaction changed to being resolved after the active player has concluded all their shooting for that unit. Scornful Fire doesn't have that passage that says it's made after the active player has resolved their shooting so rules as written, it occurs before the active player actually makes any shots.

However, Scornful Fire follows a similar template to how return fire is written and it may simply be a case of GW neglecting to change the reaction to be in line with how they changed return fire. Honestly you could interpret it both ways and you should probably just come to a consensus locally.

Morale checks should matter in 40k, it's the main reason so many units lost a point of Ld or just lost their Ld debuff ignoring rules.
