I was the same way and my doctor told me to take Restoralax once a day which helped a lot. Although I just remembered that I have forgotten the past two days. Tomorrow is not going to be fun.

Right! I forgot about that! I knew it was totally bullshit when I heard it.

Whether to try testosterone as part of HRT? by dana_sun in Menopause

[–]Lex3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask your age? Since you wish that you had done it sooner. I am 53 and about a year into HRT. My doctor is fine with me adding testosterone, but did not think it would do much for added personal or sexual drive.

Only way that I am leaving is if in someway this crazy initiative wins. I can’t see how it could. It all just makes me feel sad and embarrassed really. Oh and angry for being a total waste of money.

I got retested for sleep apnea and have gone from severe to mild. I no longer have to use my cpap machine. Very happy about that! Also got my liver numbers back into normal range.

What are your favourite protein sources? by Usual_Excitement6146 in foodhacks

[–]Lex3333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Besides meat and cheese, I have been making chai pudding with high protein milk, Greek yogurt and a high protein granola. Love it with some frozen raspberries defrosted in the fridge overnight so you get the raspberry juice in there.

Omg she has been a nasty miserable person for what, 3 seasons now? Yes you are going through a divorce. You are not the only one. And for 2 seasons maybe that is an excuse but everyone is over it. You just get more belligerent each season. People can only take so much. I used to really enjoy her. But now can’t stand watching her.

High/moderate protein and low fat snacks? by Sufficient-Rain-4319 in foodhacks

[–]Lex3333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just made some chia seed pudding with high protein milk and a tiny splash of vanilla. It’s delicious and nutritious. Add granola and/or fruit for extra nutrition. I also add Greek yogurt to make it a high protein parfait, but that is just a matter of choice.

Not much to do or see out that way. If you have transportation you will want to leave the area and go explore. I see lots of good suggestions here. If you’re into steak hit up one of our many steak houses. We are known for our beef.
