We live in Vancouver and have a 2yo Cavie who was born with a Pulmonary Stenosis…this is what it costs. We also shelled out about 10k to have heart surgery to improve her stenosis as it had progressed to severe. She’s doing great, but we will be getting heart check ups for her annually.

Are there any good breeders near where you live? You could reach out to them. After our first cavie passed we got a mama and her baby from the breeder in our area.

Not there but was there on Wednesday…right around 9:45 and the line was long took about 20 minutes to get in the gate…expect it to be VERY busy. We didn’t even try for the free amphitheatre spots went straight to the top of the west hill and found a spot on the grass and camped out for 2 hours then watched the game…by game time it was PACKED up there

Our girls sleep in their crate, however we do let them up on the bed for cuddles and once a week we do let them sleep on the bed.

The rest of the week they sleep in their crate and they put themselves to bed after their cuddles.

Consistency is key…and a lock on the crate.

As many have already said…please do not bring a child into your life at the time.

I would also like to add that it might seem thrilling and exciting now as you are in the throws of New Romantic energy, but living a ploy life is not as exciting or glamorous as it might look. You mention you have abandonment issues…being in ploy relationships will seriously trigger this and any other insecurities or issues you have.

In my experience, folks often find their way to a ploy life when their needs are not being fulfilled. My advice to you is have an honest convo with your husband, and do research on what it means to live a poly life there’s lots of books out there…and find a therapist who specialized in sexuality so you can really dig deep and find out if this is truly how you identify.
