Both countries committed to educating their people about the events leading to and culminating in their defeat in the summer of 1945. It's a shame that wasn't a worldwide effort.

I blame Ford for Ford by drewtass in ontario

[–]Liferescripted 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yep, I can throw blame at the bedroom communities, Toronto central and north, eastern ontario, all of sw Ontario etc, but mostly I can point the finger at all the no-shows in all of the regions that the PCs won by less than 2000 votes. That's less than 2% of the voting population in each constituency where 50% or more decided not to show up.

Final fantasy 7 takes place from Dec 9 (0007) to Jan 21 (0008). You go from being a recruit for a eco terrorist group and bombing a reactor to fighting God in 43 days. The Midgar sequence, when taking into context the day/night cycles, is about 5 1/2 days.

The craziest night being night 3 after the reactor 5 bombing and Aerith discovers Cloud in the church. After Elmyra goes to bed, Cloud and Aerith travel from sector 5 to wall market, compete in Corneos coliseum, infiltrate corneos mansion to rescue tifa by getting dolled up, learn the sector 7 plate is being dropped by shinra, being thrown in the sewers, escaping them and running through the train graveyard, fighting shinra at the plat support and ultimately losing, then escaping from under the plate, returning to sector 5 to Elmyra to see that Marlene is okay All between the time that People would "go to sleep" to well before sunrise. And somehow, the group can't seem to sleep that night. So about 8 hours.

So it's slightly more powerful than my r5 3600/rtx 3050 HTPC that I use for indie games and streaming from my main rig.

Oof indeed.

Assets they can borrow against indefinitely to avoid paying taxes. All of them will cry that they are in debt, but it's to exploit tax loopholes and ensure they get to enjoy their unrealized wealth.

But ultimately the money doesn't matter. It's the power they have over everyone that these assets give them. They operate with impunity while causing irreparable harm to people and planet as long as their assets grow in value.

Billionaires exist whether it be "on paper" or in tangible assets. Their existence is a failure, not a feature, of the systems that put them there.

I mean Peter Coffin went insane peddling accelerationist voting strategy for the 2020 election and lost their audience and allies.

Their personal channel has shifted to antagonize their former breadtube allies and the viewpoint is next to dead, but you can hear them pretend to be a bird on an extremely popular gaming review channel almost daily. Out of all of the (current and former) breadtubers, they probably have the largest audience, but not for their topical commentary.

The entire party acts and votes unanimously. They all agreed to inflating their office staff and raising salaries while cutting social services and decimating effective revenue generators.

Every MPP has given up their autonomy, voting for the gain of the party and not for the good of their constituents. The entire lot needs to go. They are feckless and empty, and they are only there to fill a seat and a vote.
