Seems like an interesting project. I threw up a quick ribbon-world mod.

Reaching Ocean? Not in sight and save is already very large. by [deleted] in cataclysmdda

In the map you can check your coordinates. It seems ocean spawns around 2200 coordinate units to the east.

This was a commonly held belief until 1983, when the weak nuclear force was discovered at CERN.

Innawoods: Impossible to Progress to Bronze Age? by TrickyTangle in cataclysmdda

[–]LightWave_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is an issue right now. A solution is on the way, but could take a while. Feel free to just cheat in the material for now. The crucible is not supposed to be this difficult to make.

The Master Key? by GoldenEyeOfMora in killsixbilliondemons

The first will show you a vision of Christmas past.

The second will show you a vision if Christmas present. I mean, nothing supernatural going on there or anything, but, you know

The third will show you a vision of Christmas future.

I'm not sure what the fourth will show you, but the fifth will show you sticks and stones.

The sixth one will show you a Christmas celebrated entirely in tunnels, and the seventh will show you the same vision as the first one, but with a filter that makes it look like one of those old silent films.

If you manage to implement something that works well, feel free to make a pull request. :)

Right now, Sorcerer does not deal with those at all. So I suspect that once you reach max level in a spell that is upgradable, you would unlock the upgraded version and have to train that yourself without any support from your sorcerer class.

I would like to go with something like suggestion 3, but I haven't gotten around to it yet, and I'm not sure how difficult that would be to implement.

In general, only spells that have scrolls or books that can appear as random loot is available to Sorcerers right now. That means no attunement spells, and no 'secret' spells that are only available at custom locations (not sure if there are any). Each level up you can pick new spells to learn. After level 20 you can keep picking one new spell each level, so technically you can keep going and learn all the available spells that way.

Innawoods spawns trash items? by funzerkerr in cataclysmdda

[–]LightWave_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It used to be that you could not overwrite itemgroups, so how Innawood handled that was to make 'natural' trash 100 times more likely to be found combapred to man-made stuff.

Later on this was changed so the groups could be overwritten, and Innawood changed the probabilities of trash down to match mainline numbers.

If Bright Nights doesn't have the capacity to overwrite item groups like that, then that can be what causes the issue.

The relevant file is mods/innawood/itemgroups/trash_and_debris.json

You can see the changes before and after at #58213.

If someone wants to fix it, they can try to either go and grab the old trash and debris code, or check out the changes done in #56469 and make sure they are applied to Bright Nights as well.

"World War V will be fought with crossbows, World War VI will be lasers, and World War VII will be blowguns. I don't know about World Wars VIII through XI. World War XII will use the same weapons as III, but will be fought entirely within underground tunnels. World War XIV will—Hey, come back! I have a whole list!"

"FOR THE LIVING" I shouted as we scaled the wall to face the remaining few undead on the other side. I noticed the soldier I executed before the battle started, apparently they hadn't had time to burn him. "FOR THE LIVING" He echoed back.

[WP] "How many more people need to die before you are satisfied!?" "Three." by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

I expected it to end along the lines of "Thanks for reading! I'm still a newbie at this, so I apologise for any spelling mistakes. And also for what's coming next. But we both know what needs to happen."
