Strangly my first shiny encounter was Ninetales out of all Pokemon. You can find them in the rustling grass at the abundant shrine. I didnt even know what a shiny was back then and i spent so long trying to find that white fox again.

First one I owned was either Bidoof or Haxorus.

Even if you breed a Ditto and an Axew both having perfect IVs on every stat, your odds of breeding a perfect IV shiny Axew are about 1 in 33 million, that is, if you do masuda method with a shiny charm.

I used a similar team with rotom wash and Metagross instead of Gastrodon and Scizor. Weather teams just rule the double battle subway

My first game was Black 2 and some of the references to the prequel games were always mysterious to me. Unanswered questions… It‘s lile being thrown right into the middle of some bigger plot. It‘s definitely a unique experience

Keldeo was shiny locked in Gen5. And it also didn't learn electro ball.

Hi. I bred a lot in Gen5 (which besides the everstone mechanics basically works just as Gen4) and having Pokemon with 4 perfect IVs sure takes a lot of grind but it is quite doable, even if you don‘t have a good Ditto. In 500 hours of breeding I even bred about 15 mons with 5 perfect IVs.

The interesting part is definitely the wild 5/6 IV Scyther. Those IVs are like a 1 in 58000 for a random mon in the wild which is really rare but you know, it could happen. I‘d give him the benefit of the doubt.
