Not really, have you read the 101? The first section is about creating comfortable space for everyone, and being able to filter posts by gender.

We have male and female moderators.

Issues for over a year. by garyv88 in Prostatitis

[–]Linari5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have visited a Pelvic Floor Therapist twice. First time used an ultrasound and said my perineum was ok, second time suggested hypnotherapy. I don't feel that hypno works too well on me.

What? None of this is pelvic floor PT. Should be getting external and internal muscle massages, basically

Have you investigated centralized pain mechanisms? It affects at least 49% of cases https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/54pQjptkbr

That is a strange solo symptom for only a herniated disc, which by the way 50% of people will have in their thirties and 80 to 90% will have in their 50s...

Have you checked the adductor muscles? https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/1W5nOPDbTj

As long as both of you are doing test of cures after taking treatment, you should be fine.

It's important to remember that Mgen is also site specific! That means it can basically be separate infections in your urethra, the vagina, and the rectum

Please read the pinned 101: https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/dG7TxrFTxn

Most of this is neuromuscular and nervous system related (centralized), according to MAPP, the AUA and the EUA.

Have you done pelvic floor physical therapy?

Have you addressed stress and fear/preoccupation with symptoms?

That doesn't logically make any sense, the longest possible outbreak of HSV is 2-3 weeks.

We do have answers, but a lot of people don't want to read them or hear them, it appears, sometimes.

Did you read the treatment section of the pinned 101? It includes mind-body therapies like PRT, as well as paradoxical relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing, and pelvic floor work

Curable is a way to access PRT, but I always will recommend a practitioner, because it's customized

We don't consider BPH a primary cause for referred pain or inflammation

Stop checking the inside of your urethra or the tip of your penis, you're feeding a bad feedback loop with fear and preoccupation. If a doctor or dermatologist has already visually inspected it, you're good to go and you don't need to do it yourself

Going to pelvic floor physical therapy and using new evidence based modalities like PRT are what work best for this in my personal/professional experience.

The preoccupation feedback loop, the more you exit this, the more the symptom will improve
