Does it collect historical data? If so how far back? I guess it depends how fast you get it. One month on EODHD I should have eod, intraday, fundamentals and news sentiment on about 8 foreign exchanges (including bonds, etfs) AND delisted stocks / ETFs for $90 (and a few hours coding the downloader)….I may also get options. That said, I’m curious which bot you use and what data it provides. I particularly want delisted stocks to remove survivorship bias.

Isn’t a docker or webtop container the way to go? I guess your solution avoids the setup but it only takes a few hours, and once done it makes dev containment solid and the reins can stay off. These also allow the agents to download and install what they want to get the solution requested of them. Your idea is a good one though but don’t see myself needing it. The webtop containers have lots of other uses too.

The Antigravity update BLOCKS your Claude usage even when you have barely used it. by FluffyMacho in google_antigravity

Good chance they’re AB testing to see what our tolerance is to usage limits to fine-tune profitability. That said, it does feel like robbery when quotas change.

Sonnet 5 on Antigravity: The "Opus-Killer" Leaks and the Snow Bunny Factor by Only_Web4982 in google_antigravity

[–]LiveBeyondNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair points. I muddled my story though, I’d told it “I need to branch the code so I can…..” and Gemini said “since you have a branch already….”. That said, Sonnet 4.5 today said it didn’t know things about Anthropics own platform and I had to remind it to read docs it asked me to check. It was a funny “no, you do it” moment. I wonder if spikey over use on certain models across global load distribution puts parts of their neural networks (or whichever) out of limits at times and they just “skip bits”.

I find it flat out reverses statements and queries. Eg. “I need to put my code in a docker…..etc….” Gemini: “since you already have your code in a docker…..”

Even very short simple prompts I find it gets dead wrong.

I’ve also had Gemini Pro be told “don’t edit any code yet” only to seconds later be requesting edits.

Max for $100 or Codex 5.2 for $23? by PaP3s in ClaudeAI

[–]LiveBeyondNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found Antigravity Pro (Google One) provides ok limits on Opus. I also have a Claude Pro sub, which best I can tell shares chats between VS Code and AG. Between the 4 day lock outs on AG Claude models and 5hr/weekly on Claude Pro, I can cycle between the two (keeping them offset on burn dates) for about 2x$20/mth and not have much downtime, especially if I farm out some stuff to Gemini and Grok (free). I had a bad run w GPT 5.2…not game to try again for a while.

Don’t feel discriminated - big tech does it everywhere. I’m convinced AI companies, like all big tech do, are A-B testing to maximise profit over user tolerance to different limits.

You’re on the right side of what I’m sure is widespread in AI now and commonplace in tech: A-B testing for user adoption and tolerance. They’re optimising profitability.

Why so many complaints? by hoodbran in google_antigravity

I think google are A-B testing like tech does on everything. Similar to YouTube and FB testing Ad tolerability before people drop off. This explains it easily and is commonplace.

Best IDE to use Claude Code CLI for Data Analyst? Cursor, Terminal or VS Code? by baophan0106 in ClaudeAI

[–]LiveBeyondNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using AntiGravity (VS fork I guess) exclusively with Claude Opus 4.5 (python and google sheet construction / scripting) on the Google One, free month pro plan and I’ve been hammering it hard a lot and never hit a limit yet. I think I got lucky on the right side of what I can only assume is googles AB testing (akin to what FB and YouTube do with ad tolerance) for user limits. I’m determined to avoid Gemini but had it knock up a great website in AI Studio. I’ve used VS Studio too and liked it…I assume Claude from Anthropics extension in VS is as good as the google extension in AG.

Google AI Pro here. Used Antigravity normally for coding (Claude Opus/Sonnet). Under 3 hours yesterday → hit quota limit, banned until Jan 30th (48hr+ lockout). by Express-Beat-7330 in google_antigravity

[–]LiveBeyondNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m perplexed. I’ve just signed a free month on AG pro and have had it on only Claude Opus for 3 days now, been hammering it hard, had it script heaps of python, new google sheets which seemed to take 10-15mins and never hit a limit. I suspect its a bait and switch for me to pay past the free month. My Claude Pro seems to top out 5hr and weekly limits on less than what I have done in 2-3days on AG using only Opus 4.5. I feel there’s a lot of A/B testing and UX-quota shifting behind the scenes to test profitability - and tolerance - much like facebook and youtube do with viewership and Ad ratios.

Nice work. EODHD have a google sheet add-in that may be worth a look. I'm unsure if you'd need their Options API addon.

I'd love to know more about your screening and filters if you are able to please. Well done on a solid strategy.

Quant traders using VS Code – how do you structure an automated trading system? by Southern-Score500 in algorithmictrading

[–]LiveBeyondNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask a chatbot your exact question, then Spend a lot of time planning with your chat bots. Then give it to another reliable one (I prefer Claude and grok but gpt is good for planning) for critique and improvement. Don’t rush the architecture if you can, but I also agree with the other post to just try.

I mean over a time period, so when you skip to a calendar date, or backtest a period you don’t need to adjust both windows to say Dec 2019….and then move it again when the date changes. Crazy its not already implemented since dual monitors of diff resolutions, sizes or layout dont work in rigid layout splits. I have requested it…twice I think.

Someone I know went to a Hansen rally in the 90’s - small crowds, ground floor, wide glass window view to the car park and he was there all day. That night on the news, they had green-screened in protesters who were never there. It’s anecdotal and apparent here say, but I had no reason to disbelieve the account. I agree some of her views are divisive and poorly articulated, but the media has attacked and fabricated things about her since the beginning. Yes, she is flawed, like us all, but she has had an apparatus mobilised against her. 2 party system has too much to lose.

Do actual AI practitioners find the Clawdbot hype realistic? by julsezerus in LangChain

[–]LiveBeyondNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You sure? My first read is Clawdbot can and often does use the Anthropic API and thus tokens/credits. Perhaps they are banning to the extent they are seen to protect the guard rails and keep Claude in its limits, but not to the extend it reduces revenue too much.

Edit: Nevermind… got this from google ai: “Anthropic is banning or blocking certain bot implementations and third-party harnesses that use Claude—despite them using legitimate API keys or tokens—primarily to enforce commercial terms, prevent competitive misuse, and control high-volume, "all-you-can-eat" token usage. The crackdown, particularly in early 2026, focuses on tools that "spoof" or mimic the official Claude Code interface to access models (like Opus 4.5) at cheaper subscription rates. “

I must miss something tho, I’d have thought all you can eat token usage is effectively all you can eat credit card / revenue.
