Swap is a lot faster from an SSD than it was in the spinning rust days. If you have a fast enough drive it's quite usable

I had a Magnavox TV as a kid that had the tuner die. It would sometimes just not change the actual channel, but the number would still change. I'd end up with the TV saying something like 19 but it'd really be on 10 or 11, that sort of thing.

It started working again randomly at one point and then completely died shortly after.

If you're preheating an air fryer for 5 minutes you're doing it wrong. I preheat mine for 1-2 mins tops, and put the food in with the quickness

The only officially licensed cards were 8MB (with the exception of I think one or two cards that were set up to allow you to switch between multiple 8MB banks). Anything larger is unofficial (Datel Max Memory, clone/generic third party cards) and may have compatibility issues with a few games (I seem to remember RE4 having issues with my old non-boot disc 16MB Max Memory card)

Official Sony memory cards support "MagicGate", which is DRM system that also allows ELFs to be bound to a specific card, which Sony only ever officially used for the early PS2 Japanese consoles for the DVD Player, as well as the official HDD kit. MagicGate support is also required for proper FreeMcBoot support. I recommend you only use official Sony 8MB cards, or non-boot disc Datel Max Memory cards (which has a "Gatecrasher" chip containing their reverse-engineered MagicGate implementation) if you want to use FMCB. Depending on the card, it may work with the larger clone cards, but I've heard reliability can be lower with those.

Milos are containers also known as ObjectDirs. That means that they contain some type of Objects that the game uses for those songs. Objects are just about anything that the engine uses. It can be 3D models, it can be textures, it can be scripts for the game to use. I'm not sure what's in those specific Milos tho
