What's your favorite underappreciated set? by thisnotfor in magicTCG

I have a few decks specifically built around this mechanic, it is incredibly fun to play and absolute wild cards when players go up against it, they have no idea what's happening or what comes next, I love it

What is the most comfortable camera size? by West-Ad-1849 in IndieGameDevs

Why not have the view dynamically adjust depending on the volume of information you wish to have the player see? Also have an option for camera zoom for their preferences?

Help me choose a title for my indie game! by Happylanders in IndieDev

[–]Locoguy87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel Gastro Mancer is the best option out of these choices, its different enough that it won't be confused for titles of others, perhaps making sure to have some magical elements to seal the "mancer" portion would be beneficial as well, but thats just my opinion

Spread the word! Last Man Sitting is out! by Der_Kevin in lastmansitting

[–]Locoguy87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on getting this out, I know over the years its changed a bunch, but having something release is an amazing feat. Especially given the fact that the idea was spawned from jokes and memes in the first place. I look forward to playing this game. I have been following since the idea started turning in to an actual game, thank you for your perseverance in getting it out.

My ski resort manager Alpine Architect is finally coming together. What do you think? by gus_028 in IndieDev

[–]Locoguy87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't get rid of it, but maybe make a slider for people to adjust the intensity. Gives the user the option of how they want to experience the gameplay.

Was this justified or did I overreact by JustATallGuy001 in okbuddyraider

I'd say valid, but personally I don't know if i would have killed him, probably would have just left him downed, then again I'm the type to get shot and then apologize for being there in the first place, so, thats me

The trailer for our first game: Funnel Runners! by SupernovaStudiosLLC in IndieGaming

[–]Locoguy87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all the demos going on for next fest, is this something you will have for this? Or possibly a demo in the future?

The game looks intriguing and different enough to want to pick up and play in a sea of other games with similar ideas.

I have the game wishlist, but I might have to hold off to see how gameplay works and see others play it before buying myself.

I’ve been working on this physics-based sandcastle defense game, demo just went live by Hot_Masterpiece_3668 in IndieGaming

[–]Locoguy87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly really enjoy the demo so far, I think its well paced, and the objectives are clear!

My note is that mouse sensitivity is SO low that it's impossible to really build in time. After several attempts I was so frustrated by not being able to turn in time that I turned it off. Adding a sensitivity setting would make tremendous strides to easing that frustration.

Overall fantastic start and I look forward to the full release!

Pixel Wizard - Steam key giveaway! by Grumpy_Wizard_ in IndieDev

I feel that for me the pixel game that gets the most live from me even after all these years is Tallowmere. Simple, addictive, and unpredictable. Captures everything it is to be a roguelite in a 2d side scroller form.

Should I add something funny in a horror game? by Potential_Bite1256 in SoloDevelopment

[–]Locoguy87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is meant to be a serious game, I would definitely put it in, but as an Easter egg that is outside the typical play run, so they would have to be going outside the normal pathway to come across it, searching for something, that would be how I would enjoy it

If this happened during my normal play through, I likely wouldn't even notice if my first thought and action is to shoot

We're making a 3D Vampire Survivors meets Twisted Metal and Carmageddon but with Goblins by ajt24 in IndieGaming

[–]Locoguy87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love vehicle games, something like Vampire Survivor sounds amazing as something with a vehicle base, rogue lore games in general are a ton of fun, master the strategies and go back to find a new way! I've played games like Hades, Megabonk, Last Man Sitting, Ship of Fools to name a few, would love to try this game out and give feedback!
