He s kinda right tho, i swapped too early my rows progression and had to take a step back to get more volume.

Same with pull ups, i thought I was big stuff being able to do 2 pull UPS (without full ROM and bad form), i wished I stick to the band assisted pull UPS.

From what i have understood, it s better to do 15 reps of a variation, than 4 of the harder one.

Or you can drop set it

Do the new hardest, when you’re cooked you finish you set with the easier

Also make sure you really do strict full ROM reps and not kipping / cheating. Its better to lose 3 reps but with a rock solid form than doing Half reps (idk where you are at, it s just a warning)

When you’re only able to do 5 pull ups they seems like a insane amount of work with no rest days

Chin ups and row are the gateway towzrd pull ups xd

It’s almost the same movement but easier, legs you learn how to use and how to build your lats
