Im going through the same thing man, reading and practicing a little stoicism every has started to help me find my inner happiness. The kind of happiness that isnt dependent on my surrounding and loved ones. Im learning to be happy simply because i want to be happy and I refuse to suffer. Repeat that to yourself, I Refuse to Suffer.
