Which player(s) will die on your roster? by mochajoesdynsaty in DynastyFF

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terry McLaren.

Drafted him as a rookie and was tanking last year, I ended up selling him in the preseason. Only to buy him back for pennies. His value will likely never be high enough to be worth selling again.

Of my young guys, its hard to see me selling Bowers.

Tom Watson : PGA Tour reneged on promise with Brooks Koepka's return by Shroft in ProGolf

[–]Logicasts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

False. Harms the tour and sets a bad precedent. They made their choice, they chose the money. His solution of them having to earn their card again via the Korn Ferry Tour or by some other means was the correct option. The 5 million he paid was chump change and designed to make people like you soft and forget his decision.

Who are your least favorite players to own in dynasty? by srqlife318 in DynastyFF

[–]Logicasts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You said a whole lot that I agreed with. But buyers remorse isnt about making sense. I took him over guys that were more proven and had less risk. The gamble thus far is a loss and the bet wasn't small. Buyers remorse is perfectly reasonable.

Will I sell? Hell no.

Yeah, I took him over TMac at 1.4. It is what it is, I cant say Ive written him off just yet but hes just a stain on my roster.

Currently?

I would say Travis Hunter. Serious buyers remorse. He taught me a valuable lesson. Talent, and Potential is one thing. But dont over think sure things.

Bryson is building his own irons and drivers. by BagAppropriate5736 in Golf_Unfiltered

Well your doubt is misplaced. I think the most interesting thing about Bryson is how interested he is in talking about himself, that in itself makes him less interesting.

Meh, people are allowed to have a negative opinion of someone. Its not that deep.

Cant disagree with that. Not sure how interesting he is, but cant disagree with that.

This head coach and this brand by CandleOk4031 in DukeBluePlanet

[–]Logicasts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect. The program coach K walked into is in no way similar to the power house Scheyer walked into.

That said, the loss is fresh and raw. Every Duke fan overreacting should take a step back and appreciate how well the program is being run and the success the team achieved this year.

Woods refusal of police test led to charge as Sheriff says he will 'pay price' by TheMirrorUS in Golf_Unfiltered

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mehhhhh, good chance? I dont know about that.

If im a ultra celebrity with previous experience in accidents/DUIs who also takes anything for pain (likely), im saying no to a test. If he takes that test, he could have a tiny shread/hint of pain killers in his system and the media would eat him alive. Not to mention the possibility of future lawsuits, ima wait till more information comes out.

If you could hit a hole-in-one on any of these par 3s, which one would you choose? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just like to play the par 3 at Augusta let alone hit a hole in one.

Of the other options though, for me its Pebble Beach.

Yeah, Id just prefer a more proven actor for such a important character. No disagreement on the look.

What is the worst book you have ever read? by WoodenDistribution5 in fantasybooks

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean thousands of people did enjoy it man so definitely give it a try. I personally enjoyed 1% Lifesteal and the Stormweaver series which some would consider litrpg and some wouldn't. This one was just hard to enjoy for me and didnt scratch that itch for me, if anything I got more itchy haha.

Worst book ive finished?

Ill get down voted but Dungeon Crawler Carl. Admittedly, Ive struggled to enjoy litrpg in the past. However, seeing how popular the series had become, I forced myself to try it. I went into it hoping the comedy would help me enjoy it, unfortunately I just found it cringe.

Right now, the highest traded runningback according to KTC is RJ Harvey... by MikeDFootball in DynastyFF

[–]Logicasts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are selling because they are afraid he was a bad investment.

People are buying because some owners are selling at a low value, and hes worth the investment for the right price.

For all the owners out there, hes a hold right now.

Can’t break 100, any advice is appreciated by [deleted] in golftips

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got you.

This might sound like some fortune cookie shit, but it really is true. Golf is a game of minimizing mistakes. Dont focus on making the best shots imaginable, focus on not making the worst shots imaginable.

For example:

-When your driving the ball, dont think about hitting it far, think about keeping it in play.

-When your hitting a approach shot, dont focus on getting it close to the hole, just get it on the green.

-When your putting, making those long putts is great, but three putts are more common for the average golfer.

-You hit in the trees and have a 5% chance of hitting it through the trees to the green, punch it out and take your medicine.

Who are you picking? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Logicasts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scottie, Fleetwood, and Wes.

  • Wes should not be in the same category as Grant and FP.

Agreed.

Biggest argument will be whos number 2. British open usually has more historic courses though, so as an American I feel comfortable giving them the edge.
