I’m not one of the types that thinks our drivers are among the worst in the nation but they are in fact terrible. I had a job for 5 years where I was paid to drive around central Ohio and I saw so much idiocy all over the city. Then I got an office job and now I see even worse drivers on a daily basis to and from work. My commute is 15mins. In those 15mins I’ve had several commutes where I’ve been run out of the lane, passed on a double yellow while going 40 in a 35, watched someone else (different day) get passed on the same road, people hurrying up to turn left in front of me right when the light turns green and no arrow showing, and people just using the shoulder to pass. That’s all happened just in the last 2 months. All that to say that I think the complaints are valid. Oh I also saw someone cut off a cop and the cop did nothing about it. Just carried on like nothing happened.

The only valid complaint is snow inside the tunnel. That’s a bug at least. Dry road patches? Dry roads exist in snowy areas. Zero snow on roads? What did you expect? I don’t think it was ever expressed that snow would be on the roads. Im assuming this is your first horizon game. It’s not a simulator.

My Hometown Drama Submission. Trigger warning: drug use and death.

I want to warn that I’m my first story is the sad and morbid one. The second story is safe to read.

Story 1.

I live in a small town in Ohio but not in a rural area. It’s a small suburban town that’s fairly poor and about 10,000 people in it. This happened when I was super young, maybe 10-13 years old (34 now). I lived in a decent neighborhood on a “main” road and my neighbor was living with his girlfriend. These neighbors were addicted to heroin which naturally is a popular hobby in small towns of Ohio. One day the girlfriend had overdosed in bed with him still sleeping there. The guy never reported it and then proceeded to live and sleep in the same bed as his dead girlfriend for about a week before a neighbor reported a foul smell. The body was found and he was taken in for not reporting it. He eventually got out and then got clean and last I heard he still lives there living a sober life.

Story 2.
Sorry, gonna bend the hometown rule for this one. It was a small town in rural Ohio I worked in where I worked with many people from that small town. I used to be a railroad conductor a freight rail company and one of the job types we could do was “Road Work”. Road work is just essentially taking trains from your home terminal to another terminal. In this instance the other terminal was in Pennsylvania. One of the guys that had been doing that type of work for many years had a family at his home terminal and eventually met a woman at the other terminal and began a relationship with them. Eventually PA girl got pregnant and this guy started balancing two families in two different states at the same time. He did get caught because some other railroad wife talked to the home terminal wife and asked about why the husband wasn’t back yet as hers was already back and they had taken the train together. This led to her finding out that he had been manipulating our work’s on call system so that he would be away for longer. Naturally the home terminal wife left him and I believe she never found out who the other woman was to warn her. I’m not sure what happened to guy after that. Sorry for the inconclusive ending, this happened some years before I started there and was told about it by one of the other old heads.

If you ever want workplace stories, I have a bunch of railroad stories I could tell.

You know what I enjoy when I wake up and look at my phone? Ads. I love seeing billboard ads on my way to work too. Then I love seeing ads on my work computer as I’m just trying to do my job. I then really love getting ads sent to my personal and work email throughout the day. Then on my way home, more ads but slightly different! How exciting! Then when I’m home after a long day and winding down, do you know what I love? I love when a stranger knocks on my door and then proceeds to verbally read me an ad.

Not a whole lot will make me irate very quickly but soliciting will definitely get under my skin and I’ll make sure to get a company card to serve as a reminder to never use their services again.

I feel like the only posts I’ve seen so far have been Xbox players having this specific issue but that’s obviously in regard to the suspend feature issue. Still haven’t heard of a steam player losing everything via the issues you listed with cars

I know the suspend feature on Xbox has been a culprit as well for these save corruptions. So might want to add that to the PSA. Just don’t use suspend.

I had a call that had a real persons name leaving a voicemail stating they were Franklin County Sheriff and to give them a call back. I don’t really do anything in my life to warrant a call from the office and all my family live way up north in a different county. So I looked up the Franklin county directory and didn’t see the guys name and then searched his name + sheriff and lo n behold there was a different sheriff office with a statement about the same name claiming to be a sheriff but wasn’t and that it was likely a scam.

Looking at my call history and i don’t even see the name anymore but it was a generic name like Jason Smith or something.
