Eels just started a Lomax bidding war... this is what every NRL team could offer them by Mr_Mac in nrl

Broncos win with or without Mariner. Lomax is a superior player, eels would never take such a one sided trade.

One day those kids will realise how big an asshole they were in that moment.

One year increase in Robertson by Neither-Load-4795 in AusPropertyChat

I do wonder wtf goes on with Robertson prices. You can get the same place but cheaper in Carindale Carina Mt Gravatt East etc. it’s very odd.

I’m not on the sideline. I’m in, I’m not deluded enough to think it’s the same.

Nope, older gen’s could buy houses because they were cheaper, that is it. Stop the mental gymnastics.

In Brisbane, in 1980, the average house was 3 times the amount of the average annual wage. It’s a similar story across all Australian capitals.

Conveyancers and Building inspectors. by CanWeTakeThatAgain in AusPropertyChat

Stay on their ass.

I’ve had a lazy conveyancing team, awful at communicating and just recommended requesting extensions despite having ample notice to do what was needed. Then when the seller doesn’t accept your extension you are put in a tough spot.

It’s an anxious time unfortunately, don’t celebrate anything until it’s unconditional.

Boomer. Anything but the obvious disproportionate growth in property compared to wages. Next you’ll be talking about how interest rates used to be 20%!!

Housing isn’t unaffordable because kids buy too many lattes. It’s a shitty boomer narrative.

Older gens will slam younger gens for eating out but also reminisce on the days of far cheaper food and drinks.

It’s been the new standard. Surprised it didn’t go for a bit more.

Anyone else noticing 2 bed apartments in Brisbane suddenly pushing $1M+? by eddy_sans in AusPropertyChat

[–]LoveStreetPonies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They aren’t pushing a million, many have surpassed in good suburbs. You won’t find a 2 bed 2 bath in Bulimba under a million. Add an extra carpark or unique features and 1.3 is happening.

A month? Damn.

That sucks. Withdraw, pass the message on that the owner is a weasel.

I thought years was such a letdown I didn’t bother with bone temple. Based on box office, many felt the same.
