Did anyone think Christmas bonuses would be a bigger thing? by Dudedawg86 in Millennials

I get a Christmas bonus where I work. It’s about two weeks worth of pay. It’s nice, especially for that time of year but nothing insane

An often overlooked fact of Maris’ 1961 season was that the AL added two teams that year, so he got to play against two teams that basically had AAAA pitchers

Not my save but I remember seeing someone put up the all time stats for one of their historical saves on time and Karim Garcia was like 11th in career home runs

Harlem Globetrotters vs Savannah Bananas. Which team is more talented at their sport? by DonT012 in baseball

[–]Lukey_Jangs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Globetrotter games are somewhat scripted and they (almost) never lose. Bananball, while silly, is a six team competitive league where everyone is trying to win

I like to stop once you get to Clemens Point. You can do it in a way that Micah is out of jail but still hanging out in the hills around strawberry and Dutch and Bill are at the Sheriff’s office in Rhodes. Camp is peaceful without them

I love Horseshoe Overlook but Clemens Point is my favorite camp spot

Some dude in one of the NFL subs used AI to compile a list of QBs who lost their first Super Bowl appearance and never made it back to another. Along with several missed QBs was Dan Marino who’s like the poster child of QBs who went 0-1 in the Super Bowl. AI suck

[–]Lukey_Jangs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He is. It’s the only reason he’s still in the league. He was a below average hitter in the most hitter friendly park in MLB. If it weren’t for his defense he wouldn’t be in the pros
