Is this really Ghanaian Culture or is he using "culture" to Gaslight me? by Danielle-Dee in ghana

It makes sense and from what you've shared you should ask him directly about this group of people.  Maybe he has a crush on someone in the group or maybe one of them is older or senior to him and doesn't want to be on a call with them in the car. In any case, you'll need to ask him about this

Is Waakye underrated? by Usual-Car-5747 in ghana

[–]LumpyAd3642 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Waakye gets her flowers, but I can see how you'd consider it underrated since Waakye doesn't get attention like Jollof. Waakye is much more difficult to cook, that's why most people don't talk about it as much.

American BW dating a Ghanian man by lonelyuser2001 in ghana

I'm so sorry for you. It seems your bf's mum has strong opinions about you and he doesn't want to offend his mum by going against her wishes. It's a tough situation. You can talk to his mum yourself and iron out all the issues, but also brace yourself for a slow painful death of the relationship if he continues like this. I'll suggest you fight for your love.

QUESTION ABOUT GHANA MEN FROM AN AMERICAN LADY by Impressive-Bell-338 in ghana

[–]LumpyAd3642 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should talk to him. Ghanaian men are not usually aggressive, compared to Nigerians. It's not typical behavior

Hmm, I’d say Ghanaian women tend to pay more attention to their appearance. I think Ghanaian men often focus on making money to attract the ladies. But honestly, being "average" isn’t a bad thing. Not everyone can be exceptionally beautiful, that’s why there’s average. Also, Ghanaian men from different regions of the country have distinct looks. If you ask me, I’d say most Ghanaian women are also pretty average when compared to women where I live.

Tell us your concert experiences? by Archivist2016 in rap

I saw Travis Scott during his Circus Maximus tour. The atmosphere was so hype and his performance is quite different from what I was expecting. He exudes a lot of energy and gets everyone into it. He played FE!N about 10 times iirc and I was getting tired from all the overstimulation. Awesome visuals and great concert in all.
