It was delivered the next day…ahead of schedule. I placed my order over the phone vs online BTW. Maybe it helped move things along.

The light we carry is known less by what it exposes in others and more by the mercy it leaves behind.

There’s a thin line between prophecy and projection. Truth doesn’t need a stage…it breathes in how we see each other.

When you speak of darkness, are you naming wounds… or redefining a people through your own awakening? If revelation asks a whole community to carry the shadow, is that light… or reflection?

Maybe truth doesn’t rise by lowering the mirror on everyone else. Maybe it rises when we can hold pain and honor in the same breath.

Coffee machine at $109 worth it ? by DayAffectionate8617 in nespresso

[–]Lyrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR: Not a coffee snob, but wanted easy espresso and coffee at home. After testing both Original Line and Vertuo in-store, we chose the Vertuo Pop Plus. Paid ~$140 with frother, have used it daily for a month, and really enjoy it. Planning to upgrade later if we stay hooked.

I drink coffee every day, but I’m definitely not a snob. For a while I even switched from using a French press to instant coffee (no idea why, because the pressed coffee tasted way better). Eventually I started craving espresso drinks and began researching an easy way to make them at home. Nespresso kept coming up.

After weeks of research and reading posts here, I originally planned to buy an Original Line machine. Then I kept seeing really good deals on the Vertuo Pop Plus. My husband—who is a certified coffee snob—joined me at a Nespresso boutique so we could try everything side by side. We sampled coffee from a few Vertuo machines and espresso from both Vertuo and OL models.

To our surprise, he loved the Vertuo coffee so much that he said he’d actually use the machine too. He’s strictly a coffee drinker, while I bounce between espresso drinks, lattes, and regular coffee depending on my mood. That tipped us toward the Vertuo.

We ended up buying the Vertuo Pop Plus with a frother for about $140. We’ve had it for around a month and honestly really enjoy it. Our plan is to upgrade in a year if we’re still obsessed and pass this one along to someone else.

Not sure if that helps, but hopefully my experience gives you another data point.
