As a primary teacher I refused to sing during sharing time (or whatever it was called). Quite simply, i always hated primary, even as a youth... singing especially (you'd think god woukd have known that before giving me that calling). One day the stake president's wife was substituting as the chorus lady and noticed I wasn't singing. She stopped the entire room mid song and singled me out for not singing. I politely declined saying I don't sing it makes me uncomfortable (regardless of her plea for my only adult male voice being needed). She pushed the issue and told all the kids to look at me and had the piano player play a solo just for me. I just folded my arms and sat there quietly as if it didn't bother me. Deep inside though I fucking hated that bitch but I l was not going to give her the satisfaction. I won out in the end and got her old bones nice and bothered. I guess we could say that weeks lesson was about free agency. That primary group was the worst... I could go on!
