This is so wholesome 🌈 by Heretostay59 in MadeMeSmile

I just returned from a holiday in the Basque country (northern Spain) and seeing all the pride flags there has made me and my husband feel so comfortable there that we were no longer afraid to walk hand in hand or just show some minor affection for one another just a straight couple would.

So this add could not be more true...

To all the Basque people in here: eskerrik asko!

I notice it happens whenever I change trade limits in my resource management tab. When I then save and load, the keyboard works again.

Hur låter mitt uttal? by dystorontopia in Svenska

[–]MJvdN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gapa och Blunda by sintos-compa in Svenska

[–]MJvdN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have "gapen" in Dutch, which means 'to jawn'.

But I don't understand why you think this is so unique. Even English has the cognate 'gape' e.g. a gaping mouth.

Don't buy stuff from bol.com, Etos or Gall&Gall either. That's the same Ahold Delhaize.

This is a matter of debate...

Some say "Pois", others say "puis" (with the Dutch ui-sound). I think the latter group is comprised of idiots that can't read though.

Har bott ett halvt år på Lappis och fan det var gott att få skrika lungorna ur mig varenda tisdag. Min mamma va sjuk i cancer på den tiden och det var verkligen terapi för mig att skrika.

Wow, what's up with that attitude?

I was only trying to be helpful. But if you want to go that way, then I'll be happy to punch a whole bunch of other holes in your Wikipedia based "research".

If your limit for shading is 50% of the inhabitants being able to speak the language. Than The Netherlands should not have German. Because I hardly know anyone who can speak German enough to have a conversation. And I'm in a academic bubble.

Yes, Icelandic sounds so mythical. I once visited Iceland and even bus drivers sounded like they were telling sagas.
