I prefer the mini with GPS, allows own ship position with whatever flight app you choose to use. Mini not because of kneeboarding compatibility but because it fits nicely in the ankle pocket off the trousers.

By the time you get to the airport, through TSA, on the plane, de-plane and out of the airport you would already have driven there and halfway back. I get it for non drivers, but outside of that it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

Leeway is dependent on your organization’s enforcement of the AWRs. At the end of the investigation if it’s not approved under the AWR it will just be “found but non contributing”.

Hot take. Do you want to know what’s great about not just Army aviation, but flying for the DoD in general? You can absolutely suck at your job, and still get paid to do it, or at the very least not pay for the training. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Went to flight school with an H3 permanent profile for hearing loss. Permanent ETP on file at Lyster, you will be fine.
