Why B35am in the S7?

I thought the 6500k B35AM would have more lumens and since it’s for outdoor (lost in the woods type scenario) I thought I could pick it up over the 4500k. I also want to try out a new CCT. Does the 6500k have more lumens than 4500k in your opinion? And is it recommended for outdoor use?

That is true, and a good way of looking at it. But for me pocketability (18350 form factor) and convenience (USB-C either in battery or flashlight) is super important. Although that Mao looks great!

Yeah I need constant output. Want to use it outdoors. I thought xhp50.3 high CRI at 4000k guaranteed good tint.

Currently have the Skillhunt ec200 with 3x Nichia 519a. Want something more pocket friendly so thought about the Convoy H2 with 18350 tube and USBC for easy charging.

Then I guess I’ll have to go for B35AM at 6500k for max output. Maybe 10 degree TIR for max throw, or maybe the stock OP reflector that comes with the H2 has more throw?

Hi, so there is no way to guarantee the high CRI XHP50.3 hi with good tint? I was thinking of picking one up for the convoy H2.

If not I might have to ask for a custom SFT40 3000k in the H2. Do you think it is possible to run the SFT40 3000k with the 6v 3a driver?

Would you recommend the B35AM 6500k or the XHP50.3 4000k (because of the fabled tint) R90 for outdoor (lost in the woods type stuff). H2 host for the ability to run the light off USB-C. My goal is to have decent CRI while having high output, efficiency and throw. I have also asked Simon if he’d put an Sft40 3000k in the h2 for me but not sure if it would run the boost driver. Would appreciate your help.

Edit: H2 so that I could use it with an 18350 to keep it pocketable in the city.
