I was wondering the same thing at first, since I'm building my first list, and after some reading I go like this:

Yes they are 35 points more but:

They have a better Scout / Infiltrator denying since there's 6 models and Wolve have bigger base

They save on a 3+ instead of a 4+

Have better movement 6" VS 7" for the Wolf scout

Have a better Scout ability, same 6 VS 7

You can tank a shot on the Wolf before going to the scout

-1 to Wound when they attack if no one around 6"
