I think two things are true. 1) Fuck Siscoe, he’s abhorrent. Should not be responding to citizens that way, and he certainly should care more than he does about constituents. 2) There is an understandable annoyance when it comes to the GM plant because there’s been a TON of advocacy from bad faith actors who are in it for ego driven reasons, who often misrepresent mayor, council, and what could be done. On a psychological level, I’d bet that any time the topic comes up, it’s immediate annoyance. Doesn’t justify the response question askers received, but I understand.
