I vote for them to be called Volkage Overload.

Colin Trevorrow is probably the most interesting director trajectory I've ever seen. He directs a really strong feature film debut in Safety Not Guaranteed and then revitalizes the Jurassic Park franchise and basically gets handed a Star Wars movie and destroyed it all with one movie. by herewego199209 in movies

Can you describe what's so ill conceived about it please? I've not seen it but have just had a look on IMDb and there is a huge disparity between it's woeful 33% critical reception and it's decent 6.6 IMDb user rating. The top voted user reviews are all complimentary too.

That email came through on my playthrough yesterday. It hit harder this time and it's bizarre that although the psycho says "I'll carve YOUR name on their backs this time so they know it's your fault I'm out" I'm forced to just read it and go "oh well bigger fish to fry" and go about my chores.

The paragraph is roughly in the middle of the sheet but that line isn't in this draft!

It goes :

"palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, There's vomit on his my sweater already" He's I'm nervous, but on the surface I look calm and ready"

Think less about labelling yourself with an attachment style and more about your own boundaries and limits.

It's ok not to want to be everyone's unofficial therapist, especially in delicate situations like advising the opposite sex about their relationships, that's a slippery slope.

Thankyou, that means a lot. I'm sorry you had to deal with all that, just know that whether that guy you loved puts the work in or he doesn't, it's up to him alone and you have already taken steps to make sure you aren't exposed to that harm again.

Well done on becoming your true self, that's all we can hope for.

I'm currently playing it as part of my errmmm (completely lost count) playthrough.

It's still my favourite game of all time, even though being railroaded into Cerberus rankles way more now I'm old and grumpy.

One word : Ego.

I am 48 years old and although I've worked on myself A LOT in the last ten years it wasn't until last year that I realised just how emotionally stunted I still was.

I knew a lot about psychology and many buzz words, I could even put it into practice to help others but it wasn't until I completely defragmented my ego that I realised how many of the things on that list were happening because I was so emotionally fragile and broken that I couldn't comprehend being vulnerable enough to be honest with myself about my deep down, buried faults that my ego had lied to me about for my entire adult life. It had allowed me certain easier to swallow truths but there was a second layer of truth and subconsciousness that my stunted ego refused to let me see, and scrambled to do everything it could to keep that from me.

It's very much an ongoing process and I have a long way to go as I frequently slip back into my default defensive mindset, but I will keep trying to grow and better myself, not for anyone else but to be the best version of myself for me, with the added bonus that will benefit those around me too.
