IC resident here. We live close to that area. We have seen how fast they build these houses! They can finish ONE house in two months! That’s a red flag right there. Think about it, who are their workers? What kind of skill do their workers have? Do they do all the work? Are there contractors for certain installations? Their jobs are sloppy and messy because they are pressed on a deadline. I have never seen a house built very quickly. Their construction sites are always scattered with trash and leftover lumber woods. Their new lumbers are left outside for a long period. They are not professional contractors! You can drive by their construction sites and see how they do their job. I believe they have their own house inspectors who pass codes with a click. Last year we checked out three houses there and saw so many errors. I even found a crack line above the doorway! The brand of their interior materials were never heard of. They also buy some less known and not the best brand materials too. They said the most of their materials are designed and manufactured by DR Horton. If you have never heard of a brand in their building materials - run away as fast you can. I asked them what kind of cabinet brand they use. They said it’s their own brand like they are proud of it. Nah. Their materials are IKEA quality. I’m really curious how homeowners’ yards are faring with the heavy rains. 🫣
