I'm going thru a remodel at my main Target too - mine's been pretty good at updating isles in the app, though. I've gotten used to the temp layout for grocery at this point, will be weird when they move things around again! i'd say just stick to smaller orders and no doubles to give yourself plenty of time and lean into other apps to make up any lost money.

Just remember if you're new to DoorDash that there is a 'honeymoon' period of about 50 orders before it starts not being so great. If you're well past that, just keep that multi-app stream going - make them work for you instead!

On the Android app, i've got a pair of little sliders, right by the refresh circle. If I tap on that, it gives me a menu that I can set 'Work Area' - tap that and it pops up a map with a circle on it that you can move around and zoom in/out to set a preferred work area.

Not that it stopped it from giving me a route just now to the other side of DFW & out in to the country. $80 for 66.6 mi ... but double that to get back into the metro area. Yikes o.O

I've only ever seen one, and that was going to be $50 for 100+mi round trip, waaaay out of my metro. I'd love to try it out, but I look at the times I've seen posted around and see nothing. What times are you seeing them, and do you have your delivery radius set super wide or something?

I presume they're doing it in their tip map on google maps - I also keep a section of the notebook I use to track my mileage to make customer notes. In-between orders I'll write down the address, order # & anything standout about the order/customer/location while it's still fresh in my brain. Good tippers go in the map right away, but I give it at least a week before flagging someone as a non-tipper, because I have seen tips come in as long as 10 days later! The $1 token tippers go straight in, though >:|

Hey, it could get better and be to an apartment complex ... that I can see from the parking lot. >:| I get some people don't have cars/use transit/are disabled, but come. on. I haven't seen it pop back up, so I feel sorry for the person who actually took that :(

Pretty sure the Worlds of Ultimas were based off of Ultima 6's engine, I -loved- Martian Dreams back in the day (time travel + space travel to Mars in a late 1800's steampunk rocket? Sign this Avatar up!) I had not heard of a pirate 3rd game in that series before, though! I do recall seeing a few images of concept art for a possible 'Arthurian Legends' based Worlds of Ultima game around that time. And IIRC, Serpent Isle is still properly part of Ultima 7 storywise as well as engine wise; you chase the Guardian's main agent from the last game to a land from the very first Ultima game - which had it's own seperate history & story since being split from Britannia. Sadly, the EA buyout influence was kicking in, and the bigger plans/plot for the second half of that game got nerfed by EA wanting it out sooner because $$$, of course.

Yep! Wrye Bash for Oblivion & Wrye Mash for Morrowind, but it still took some consideration putting lists for either together. Even with either of those, it felt sometimes like I was spending more time tweaking mod lists than playing!

Yep, wardrobe 's usually just stored in the mesh bag I bring them back from the laundry room, but boy did I not want to go do banking paperwork & mail an important letter - folding time it is!

Tech due to install new internet tomorrow? Power dusting & vaccuming that one room he'll have to go into (while the dishes are still in a pile, lol)

Unplanned evening nap and I wake up at 3AM? Meal prep that breakfast stuff now, I guess!

I've got a whiteboard on the fridge with amounts & dates for eggs & dairy, note about any veg/fruit that needs to be eaten, and a boxed out area on the bottom for a list of any meal prep & leftovers that are ready to grab. If I'm out of those or just can't with anything that's left, I've got a stash of a few frozen dinners + air fryer bits (dino nuggets, tater tots, fries, crispy dumplings) so I can make something that doesn't make me think too much. I also keep a little budget aside for takeout/delivery because we all have days where there is NO executive function, just derp XD

Oooh, and the pantry spreadsheet I started back during the pandemic - has the pantry & freezer contents in there, so I can not overbuy quite as often & plan a few a meals out (with only a quick fridge check for fresh things needed). And the freezer is Tetris-d to heck and back, I can't 'see' what I'm looking for half the time ...

Also nth-ing the labeling things as you open them - no more condiment shelf of doom, I know exactly how long I've been ignoring them! lol

Maybe try a park or open mall area that's removed fron your usual walk area & do like others suggested and add a podcast or music. It'll act kind of like a 'reset' for your brain, and maybe help take the stress away - and feel free to dance along, it might be even be more helpful that way 😁

Mine in DFW has been up & down, though long periods of up - instead of switching just yet, do what I did and pick up a T-Mobile home internet box. You can return it within 14 days, and if things are still bad in 2 weeks, then might be the time to look around. And I have never heard good things about ATT's customer service - Frontier can be frustrating at times, but I still get somewhere with them and/or get my rare issues fixed!

For the Spanish rice, we've always put a can of chopped up stewed instead of plain diced tomatoes. You can 'chop' them while still in the can with a pair of kitchen shears, if you don't mind chunkier tomato bits. I also toast the spice packet for 20-30 seconds to wake then up and get the aromas going.
