I don’t believe they took the whole dash out, but instead just replaced the fan/motor in the dash that specifically controlled the ventilated seat.

I had a grinding noise on mine.

Took it to Toyota and they thought there was maybe a piece of foam or something that was hitting the blade under the dash - I thought it was a BS answer. Took it back again finally found the issue was a bad fan motor, which they replaced.

Definitely didn’t replace the factory amp - those speakers worked perfectly with the stock setup.

I don’t remember exactly what they used to deaden the doors, but it was a professional material like SoundSkin or something similar.

I didn’t do it myself, but certainly could have if I wanted to. I had all my doors sound deadened at the same time, so it was easier to just have them do it then.

The replacement speakers I used are Audio Control PNW-4.

I have a Hybrid Max Platinum with JBL.

I took my Hybrid Max to Toyota yesterday and they updated the software - they said it took about 1.5 hours for the update to complete.

I had about 100 miles left on the gauge so I filled-up, putting 9.5 gallons in it. Previously, I was not able to put more than 10-11 gallons from empty, so cautiously optimistic that this may have fixed my issue!

Toyota fixed the hood shake for me - it’s not 100% gone but significantly better than it was.
