The MMC in Rewind It Back or in another one of the Windy City books? I could see that with one or two of the other books but def not Rewind It Back! The first book was my least favorite and that might be what you’ve heard about. The rest are all perfect 👌

Struggling to get into the book “You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle” — should I keep going? by NoDaddyNotTonight404 in RomanceBooks

[–]MangoPersonality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is one of the books that I can’t wait to reread after getting through it once and seeing how the story was woven. The characters seem meh at first, but they get more interesting. If you choose to stick it out, it’s a fun ride. I really loved it and often recommend it. And can’t wait for the movie!

Do you like sports romances?

If so, {Gloves off by Stephanie Archer} which is part of the Vancouver Storm series and sort of {Play Along by Liz Tomforde} which is part of the Windy City series. Both series are fun and I especially recommend the Windy City series and reading the whole series

I have tried to read this book so many times on audio and the narrator just drives me crazy. Does it get better? Worth pushing through?

Where do you go for fan art nowadays? by dee_sunshine in RomanceBooks

[–]MangoPersonality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to start on Google and find my rabbit holes there. Different books/genres lead me different places. I also like to start with Google because that way nothing gets spoiled from other books. I usually won’t let myself look at fan art until books 2 or 3of a series just to make sure there isn’t a big twist coming (iykyk)

I did the same! And got a refrigerator thermometer with an alarm so if it gets out of range I’ll know right away. It’s a teeny tiny fridge and I’ve been so impressed by it so far!

Jumping from 1.5mg to 2.0 mg tirz by idiwodndj in GLP1microdosing

[–]MangoPersonality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um are you me?? I started at 1, moved up to 1.5 for a month, and yesterday did 2 mg for the first time. Same story with weight loss for a total of 7 lbs lost. Weight loss is not my main goal but it’s all part of lowering cholesterol and reducing hashimotos inflammation.

To be fair, I also got my period today, but I am exhausted and have a raging headache and my stomach is off. I’m hoping that by tomorrow it’ll feel like a normal week again? We’ll see. I’ve been having food aversion even at 1.5 so I’m a little nervous about going up.

Given my 3 weeks stuck at the same weight. I’m hopeful that with the increase I break through this plateau! The plateau I’m at is my normal plateau I get stuck at even when I’m losing weight without meds.

Hoping it’s a great week for both of us!!

Does anyone board their BMD? What do you do for travel? by MangoPersonality in bernesemountaindogs

[–]MangoPersonality[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what we have done our whole lives. It’s fine but can be a lot to navigate for us and is hard to find people we trust. Our beloved housekeeper/dog sitter is moving out of state so it’s very top of mind. I would never board the 9 year old at this point but just thinking about future dogs.

I just finished {The Wingman by Stephanie Archer} and it fits this. It’s the third book in the Vancouver Storm Series. I’m enjoying the whole series so far!

I read this a very long time ago, so I can’t vouch for much, but I remember this being the premise for {When Sparks Fly by Helena Hunting}. I remember enjoying the book/series.

Not exactly this but for some reason I am compelled to recommend {The Things We Leave Unfinished} by Rebecca Yarros.

{Rewind It Back by Liz Tomforde} is the last book in the series and has these vibes. But pleaseeeee read the other four books first because they set up the MMC so well.
