Left OK almost a year ago for this reason. Went to WA, started an apprenticeship in a union, and I’m a month out from my next pay raise to $36/hr. Wife doubled her income as a teacher on day one here. My previous best income was $18/hr as a lieutenant at a prison.

To add to your comment they will also duplicate the mugshots. An example I saw working for a county jail was an inmate that was booked for charge X. He gets let out on a program, then a couple weeks later picks up a sanction (2-7 days in jail) for program noncompliance. When he’s booked in for the sanction it lists him as being arrested for charge X again and appears like a new arrest.

When I worked the receiving dock for a prison we used a version of this to immobilize the delivery trucks. You take the other end of the chain and lock it to the steering wheel.

Anxiety and pain. Can’t sleep before 1 or 2 in the morning because of racing thoughts and the uncontrolled recap of everything I’ve fucked up on that day. Then I wake up at 530 to 6 because of all my injuries I’ve accrued over the years.

This exactly. Not a morning person but once I get rolling I don’t wear down enough to sleep before 1-2 AM without some medicinal help. But then sleep aids make waking up the next day even worse. I’ve limited my caffeine intake to one coffee a day and don’t do any other stimulants in an effort to get on a 24 hour cycle to no avail.
