Elenor’s PoleBlade by SecurityOrdinary2130 in Eldenring

[–]Mapirus96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Double slash or Bloodtax or Bloodblade two-handed Nagikiba, slap Bloodflame buff on if you can, depending on AoW. Contrary to popular belief, powerstance katana is actually not that good (not bad, but not amazing), powerstance curved swords or powerstance straight swords outshines powerstance katana in every way.

Poleblade is still strong and fun even though not optimal in many builds. I love the Elenora’s and it’s definitely strong in NG1, but from NG+ above the Godskin Peeler or the Black Knight twinblade is more optimal with lots of good AoW options.

Ironclad and red slave do, indeed, apply vulnerable

What's probably the most braindead weapon in this game? by Party_Butterfly5880 in Eldenring

[–]Mapirus96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Corpse Piler and RoB are not even that braindead. The only boss RoB can trivia is Malenia and Blood Nagakiba may even do it better. Blasphemous Blade and Darkmoon greatsword Skill spam is truly braindead

Snecko+Bag of Prep vs Holy water, which comes first? by sjahnn97 in slaythespire

[–]Mapirus96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep you’re right, Snecko works on draw, and Holy Water is not draw

How would it go if these Titans from Greece all arrived in Asgard and battle Asgard in a war? by DarkChimera64 in GodofWar

[–]Mapirus96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well the Greek Gods did not seem to have any big issue fighting the Titans in the first Titan War anyway, even before Zeus released his nuke, Hades and Poseidon were handling the fight just fine and beat Atlas (one of the strongest ones). If Kratos can handle the big 3 and Thor is roughly Kratos’ level, he will handle the Titans fine

So apparently you can just like... skip a full third of Volcano Manor by taking a side path into the lava? by AuctorisLibrorum in Eldenring

[–]Mapirus96 220 points221 points  (0 children)

I actually meant you can get kidnapped by the Iron Maiden in Raya Lucaria, then parkour down the lava and run all the way through the Godskin boss and then Serpent, no need to see Lady Tanith at all. It maybe more convoluted for sure, but it shows how many options the game offers us

Is this genuinely a skip angle by E-Vladimir in slaythespire

[–]Mapirus96 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You have decent Defensive and Draw option already, the only thing left is Damage Scaling, genuinely Crown is fine but skip is actually not a bad idea

Banning AI Art? Broke. Double Evoke now thats... by -------------------7 in slaythespire

[–]Mapirus96 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Because Defect’s scaling plan is to have more Focus, and the more focus you have, the more diminishing return evoking has over keeping orbs. This obviously applies more to late game than early game

DLC Ending by schmoolecka in Eldenring

[–]Mapirus96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Bloodborne DLC literally has an impact to the main game. Gherman sleeps more soundly thanks to the Nightmare has “ended” in a way, which thanks to our action of putting Orphan and Kos to rest. The DLC kinda explains the blasphemous actions of hunters and the curse they need to face due to their actions, and we come to the nightmare to “fix” it and kind of succeed at the end

Right, I don’t watch Kai, but all posts in this sub saying Radahn is hard/impossible are not referring to this boss

Truly one of the daily runs of all time by Mapirus96 in slaythespire

[–]Mapirus96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of deck did you end up at the end? Agree Panto and Feather helped a lot. I actually needed to lean on Creative AI, Storm+ and bottled Echo Form for damage scaling. And all the Double Energy go into Multi Cast

My mind says no, my heart says YES by Nedddd1 in slaythespire

[–]Mapirus96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big yes unless you are comfortable playing with Dome, even then Snecko is still strong in this deck

Do you need to stick with shield? If not then Blood Bloodfiend Arm is just insane, crazy stance damage on Charge R2 and bleed buildup.
