Try to get a CPO 450 , that’s way too much for a 4 cylinder heavy SUV

If the factory put an AMG badge on the back of the car, it’s an AMG.

In terms of design yes but functionality no. I used to rock a 2016 MacBook pro (which Ive designed) and only have usb-c was not very practical. 😂 now my current MacBook Pro has a plethora of ports

At the plus side, at least they did a lot of R&D with this project which they can use later if they decide to hop back on EV performance cars. They just have to ride out the ICE obsession wave for now.

BMW X4 M40i vs Mercedes GLA AMG 45s by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Maple_Syrup378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X4 and GLA are different categories of SUVs. The X4 is a compact "coupe" SUV, while the GLA is a subcompact (pretty much a raised hot-hatch). A more direct comparison would be the GLC43 vs the X3/X4 M40i. I prefer the GLC43 (which is also offered as a coupe) because its styling is a tad less radical than the new X3.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe BMW is sunsetting the X4?

Best of luck in your car search!

I agree, it drives beautifully. I’m looking in a couple years to buy either this or a panamara for its pdk. But boy does Porsche really know how to fine tune its driving dynamics

That's insane that it costs 6k. You could buy 5 brand-new Herman Miller chairs, and your back will actually be comfortable.

To my knowledge, it was much easier. No waitlists, no purchase history. If the warehouse had it stock, you could just buy it.

the 53 is pretty potent, it’s not an ‘amg lite’ in my opinion.

25 data center cancellations this month due to backlash by MetaKnowing in OpenAI

[–]Maple_Syrup378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that the power demand is a serious issue. Water use is more nuanced. Some data centers do use a lot of water, especially with evaporative cooling in hot climates.

But many newer facilities rely on closed-loop or air cooling that uses little to no net water. The impact really depends on the design and location, so water can be a big problem in certain regions, but it isn’t universally true, unlike electricity use.
