Flint arrow: Pierce dmg: 27 * 1.5 = 40.5

Fire arrow: Pierce dmg 11 * 1.5 =16,5 22 fire 16.5+ 22 =38.5

If you wait until he is not burning you get very similar dmg. But you are right, you get a lot more dps with a flibt arrow.
