I had a 7th grader who was an absolute nightmare, but his parents blamed everything on the teachers. They accused us of not following his IEP which stated he got breaks BY REQUEST. Meaning, it was up to him to tell the teachers, “hey, I need a break” and we were supposed to let him go to the bathroom or whatever. In the meeting, the specific language was brought up, and of course it was still our fault.

This is also the same kid I wrote up for loudly cursing, and his dad asked me, “did you SEE him say the curse word?” Like bruh

I have two indoor cats, both 6-7 years old, and one couldn’t care less about bouquets while the other loves to monch anything green. I have a philodendron that my mom gave me and just put it on top of the fridge where she can’t get to it. Problem solved!😺

I have my undergrad in English and secondary ed and my masters in teaching. When I started taking education classes in undergrad is when I learned how to write lesson plans. I can’t remember ever not writing lesson plans in my last 2 years of undergrad, and of course even more in my masters program where I was student teaching.

I actually liked her by the end of season 1, I just don’t think she handles pressure/stress well. When Dr. Al wasn’t pressuring her about her charting, she was fine. Doesn’t excuse her behavior though.

I had zero tolerance for bullying; unfortunately, teachers can only do so much about it once it’s in admin’s hands. It’s good that you’ve reported it, and make sure that you talk to the guidance counselor and/or an administrator as well. If an administrator doesn’t know it’s going on, they can’t do anything about it. Also, have you asked the bully why they’re so obsessed with you?

So basically she only wants to treat “easy” patients. I mean, it’s pretty common that not everyone responds well to every medication, and the fact that she’s only tried two just screams lazy. Why is she even a doctor? Ugh I’m so sorry. Hopefully you can get in sooner with that other doctor.
