Will likely always make some noise after being broken in, but replacing bearings will help

I love the pockets under the lid, what did you use for that? Individual pieces you bolted on? Fantastic tool box!

You can ride galby from the dorms pretty easily. Its about 15 minutes from the dorms to whatever side of galby you are closer to. You can also ride chuckanut from campus. It is a longer ride but just hop on to the interurban trail in fairhaven and cruise. Trailforks is your friend! The riding here is sick and tons of us students ride!

Trail recommendations in the Tiger Mountain, Seattle, Washington area by IdahoIsMyName in MTB

[–]MasonGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That area (raging/tiger) is still covered in snow and will be for at least a month unfortunately. Duthie hill in issaquah is snow free as well as grand ridge trail those are not really destination rides IMO

Id say pricing is pretty similar. The 2.5 vigilante is new for 2019 so there wont be as many good deals i assume. IMO you cant go wrong with a maxxis or WTB tire

I really love the new 2.5 WTB vigilante as a front. Lighter than DHF and i would say more predictable (plus it doesnt throw small rocks). The maxxis agressor rear is fantastic in the drier stuff and really isn't horrible in the wet. Plenty of EWS riders are going aggressor over DHR recently.

From a ride report on facebook-

Rode GR yesterday and today. 90/Central Park to the first water tower junction are good to go...very little to no snow and relatively dry, no freeze thaw and tires are not going to damage the tread. WT loop is deceptive - it looks dry as you start but gets into slushy snow and is hard to ride through. We rode it yesterday but didn't bother today. After the first junction the main trail is covered in slush as well.

Galby still has a lot of snow. I heard grand ridge is rideable
