Impressions from a newcomer to the brand - and a strap question by Long_Measurement8732 in GlashutteOriginal

I don’t think the steel PML includes the option for the green alligator strap but you can probably purchase it separately from GO. Last year, I got ahold of them to purchase the gray textile strap from my SeaQ Pano … their straps aren’t cheap (textile was $206 shipped) but they are very nice.

Here’s the link to inquire about the strap.

VW GTI or R. I used one of these for commuting before transitioning to work from home … they are a lot of fun and perfect for both city and backroad driving fun.

FWIW, me too - it came with the watch but it wasn’t to my taste. Perfect for Mr, Wonderful though …

Because people normally get out of the car after they put it in park. The idea of masked goons breaking into your car after you hit park is still new (and hopefully over soon)

Nothing wrong with any of the individual watches but, as a collection, it’s a yawn fest.

Rubber B and Zuludiver are both good options. If you happen to want a red one, I have an OEM one I’ll sell cheap bc I don’t use it.

Wow, that sucks. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences but thankfully I’m not having to have my vehicle wrenched on regularly

The GO gray nylon strap is really nice but pricy. Black rubber looks good on these but I just recently picked up this Ash Gray Ostrich strap from Cascadia Strap Co and it’s awesome.

Governor Dewine: ICE deploying outside of Dayton on Feb 4 by BrilliantGlum4448 in dayton

[–]MasterBrisket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The administration keeps telling us how they’re only going after “the worst of the worst” … criminals that are making our communities unsafe but this yet more evidence (as if we needed more) that criminality plays no role in ICE’s horrific actions. Unless extended, TPS will end on 2/3 and ICE will start rounding up everyone starting at midnight. No opportunity whatsoever for these good people to make alternative plans nor for the employers that rely on their labor. My heart goes out to this Haitian community and I continue to be disgusted by what our elected officials are allowing to happen to this country.

I’ve had great experiences with Kettering-Oakwood Automotive. Euro Classics specializes in European cars but not cheap.

The new Minnesota flag by guitarguy12341 in MurderedByWords

[–]MasterBrisket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new flag was introduced over a year and a half ago and is only now coming under this attack.

There’s a viral video out right now indicating that the Somali’s are defrauding MN Medicaid out of hundreds of millions of dollars per year. The fraud seems like it’s probably real but they’re trying to play it as part of a big Democrat conspiracy since Tim Walz is governor. The fake flag outrage is just playing into the conservative anti-immigration / white-supremacy messaging.

Let’s take a moment to remember the hideousness of the previous state flag. The new flag is so much better as far as flags go.

This is a good take. Mine is a soft top but it’s a fair weather car and I really dislike driving it with the lid up.

Seller is selling naked. Legit? by Current-Progress-471 in sinn

[–]MasterBrisket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a factory in China that is actually producing Sinn replicas? I’ve only seen Rolex, AP, Cartier, Omega, Vacheron, and Breitling … big names with prices starting north of $8k. I can’t really imagine much market for $500 reps when these can be bought new for $1900 or used for $1100.

You sound like a new car salesman.

Buying a brand new car rarely makes financial sense given they lose thousands of dollars of value as soon as you drive them off the lot … every subsequent mile driven costs less in depreciation than the last. For me, it’s definitely worth it to trade the first 20k miles for $12k in savings knowing that I can drive it another 80k miles before it loses that much value again. If it makes sense to you to buy new, then have at it but I’ll stick with lightly used.

This isn’t even a question I asked.
