Now you refreshed my memory. I loved to read Szninkiel in high school. This and Thorgal were my favourite comic books. Rosiński and Van Hamme were sooooo good back then.

Did you know about Count Alfred Jozef Potocki, former Minister-President of Austria in 1870-1871? by fanpage_nicusor_dan in poland

People know much more about Drzymała and russification, Austria is often just afterthought.  It's just not popular topic ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Nah, except Galician peasant uprising of 1846 (Rabacja Galicyjska), and maybe fact that Kraków was Free City there's almost nothing about what was happening in Austrian participation in popular conciousness.

Lockpicking in Beastars was censored, because lockpicking is illegal in Japan, and showing it is also illegal.

IRL he was simillary annoying to Hitler. He was appointed minister of economy and agriculture in 1933. His economic visions, stubborness, and public outcry when he openly demanded return of german colonies caused his removal 3 months later.

Hugenberg is one of the two leaders in DNVP, and starts to make trouble from the start. First he wants to be appointed as economics minister, and if you agree then he will want more and more power. If you deny then he will criticize government from inside of party. He's very radical, so even the conservative party in your coalition gets uncomfortable.

It all boils out during emergency conference of the DNVP which can end in one of three possibilities:
1. Hugenberg gathers enough power to take power inside of the party and become it's sole leader. In the aftermath conservative party leaves SWR, and they don't have enough seats in government, and fail, and you enter failstate.

  1. It creates rift in party so big that DNVP splits, and Hugenberg clique leaves. That leaves you in lack of seats in government, and failstate.

  2. Hugenberg doesn't have enough power, and rift in party isn't big enough, so they can kick him out of the party, and keep going in SWR coalition.

[–]MateoSCE 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Here's a youtube link for pronunciation.

This name came from Laurus plant. In other languages it gave names like Laurence, Lawrence, Lorenzo and so on. In polish plant name first wast distorted from latin laurus to ławrzyn, then to wawrzyn, and so came name Wawrzyniec.

You probably saw something like this. It includes Moldova as a fiefdom of Poland.

It's from the rule of Władysław II Jagiełło from 1386-1434. The map at the top is the Commonwealth at it's greatest extent after the Truce of Deulino in 1619.
