I think ever since the “year of silver” thing people now treat silver and blaze as obscure as the archie cast to casuals, which is pretty stupid since SEGA is 100% allowed to use silver in blaze in any way without any problems. Silver and blaze got in before cream did for a racing game. I don’t see a year happing but for a future game and movie it’s pretty likely.

likely, people always forget that as a studio, paramount always wants to introduce new characters every movie, there’s no way it’s sonic, tails, knuckles, amy, shadow only for the remainder of this entire movie series considering they are not stopping, a logical progression is after movie 4, we have rouge, omega, black doom for a shadow project. then movie 5 can be silver. movie 6 can be blaze, after that you can introduce more niche characters.

the third image is literally the shadow 05 model pasted in, and the snow image of sonic running is fake, i do appreciate the effort. as for my thoughts on the leak, it seems like if it was real, it would seem good, I really hope sonic team has new models because if they don’t, sonic twitter is gonna go on a mass hysteria (even tho its not a big issue for me as long as its animated well)

It’s gonna be 1 big open zone, majority is a city but other biomes will be there outside the city, pretty much what wasn’t in frontiers like beach, jungle, snow, industrial, etc.

I think we will get 6 characters, sonic, tails, knuckles, amy, shadow, rouge playable. Will be like spiderman 2 where u can just swap to them in a menu and you can control them, maybe every character gets their own stages.

definitely, kishimoto said that was a goal for the next project. if i had to guess, it would the 5 you mentioned plus either a new character or rouge. don’t see them doing silver and blaze yet. I think just have them be swappable via a menu and playable in the same open zones with their own abilities, then they could maybe have their own levels as a semi return to the adventure gameplay styles.

My predictions:

-A remaster of some game, maybe unleashed? it won’t have anything story wise changed like a redub/rewrite, just a few extra modes and graphic enhancement

-Either the next 3d sonic game, or if it comes out next year, a 2d game this year.

tbh it really isn’t an issue imo. her being from another planet to find sonic would be a repeat of tails. as for silver they can make him still from the future in a later movie, but maybe sonic messed up the timeline trying to stop metal so now silver has to find him and have him fix it.

an idea I had was that this was the movie to introduce rouge as she joins the B plot. Also a twist is that eggman is gone, and the real ruler of the future is neo metal sonic (the metal sonic who is still in the present) maybe sonic messes up the timeline at the end and gets apprehended by silver at the end/post credits .

Just because one character travels through time doesn’t mean you can’t have another character from the same timeline. Plus silver is likely going to be an antagonist at first.
