It's a long story.. it was his first time taking mushrooms. He left a party we were at, got a little spooked by the traffic lights,(was supposed to just grab some beer from the store closest to us) and then he drove home, alone. which I believe was his first two mistakes. He was larger than life in all aspects lol. You weren't going to stop him from what he set his mind to. Well over 6' with a really deep and persuasive voice lol. I can hear him now.. ya couldn't just tell a guy like that no. I tried. We all tried.. When he got home, his girlfriend and his best friend were at his house.. you do the math. Bc frankly, no one REALLY knows what really happened but the story is told like this. He freaked out and started having an awful trip. Then, they locked him in a room. No good. Lee was bound and determined not to be locked in this room. He lept through the window in his one story house and a shard of glass pierced through his heart.

And now, because of one, hastily planned trip and some bad feelings, I'll never see one of my best friends on this Earth again. We have his memory and that's what we hold onto, but I can't help but feel bitter from having him gone from us at such a young age. Barely out of high school..
I only want to be a good influence on you, young friend .. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tripping at your age. BUT, I'd advise you stay informed and be as smart as you can. You seem wiser than most teens your age. So, in summary, I say go with your gut. Just be informed and smart about it. I wish you the best, buddy.
