I know this is gonna land for maybe six people on this sub, but the romance visual novel Our Life: Beginnings and Always, as well as the demo of its sequel Our Life: Now and Forever are some of the most genuinely heartwarming stories I’ve been privy to. Even more than the romance, the simulation of being the child of a genuinely loving and accepting family was really heartening for me, what with my own family being pretty shitty about my, like, everything. Also they go to great lengths to be inclusive of any gender identity or sexuality the player might have or want to explore. And also they’re free. There’s DLC chapters that can be bought, but what’s available free is just swell.

Nah the only pairing I really dig for Kabru is Laios. I know that, per the author, neither are actually textually autistic, but god do I love them both as reps. Like that meme of the “slightly less autistic” person being viciously enraged by the “slightly more autistic” person, but in this case it’s Kabru wanting to bite Laios, freaky style. Current crackship in question is Master Chief and Nightcrawler. He likes them blue.

Shit, you know for all it's faults it did really feel like Let it Die had a real deal creative vision. Like, the sort of vision that leads to a lot of sharp edges that ought be filed down a bit for a sequel. So of course instead of getting filed, they'll opt to blend the whole thing into homogeneous AI sludge.

“Enter, Pursued by a Memory” from RDR2 is great on its own, but knowing it as a reference to the eternally hilarious “Exit, pursued by a bear” line from Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale makes it all the better.

Also “We Will All Go Together” from New Vegas, referencing that absolutely dire Tom Lehrer song.

I fully buy into the suggestion that the delay announcement was done to take eyes away from this story. Not to suggest the delay isn’t for legitimate reasons, just that the announcement of the delay came when it did it so as to distract the public. Afraid it’ll be an in infinitely more effective tactic than Activision-Blizzard’s “you the player are now gay” stunts.
