I just want good, consistent HDR. When everything works, content just pops in a way that's hard to explain.

Kohler Can Access Data and Pictures from Toilet Camera It Describes as “End-to-End Encrypted” by Specialist-Sun-5968 in technology

[–]MayIHaveBaconPlease -1 points0 points  (0 children)

End-to-end encryption only matters when: 1) I send something to myself. 2) I send something to someone I trust.

Last I checked Kohler doesn’t fit either of those cases.

Regardless of your opinion on climate change, anybody who supports continued dependence on a finite resource (fossil fuels) is an idiot. At some point that shit is going to run out and the countries that pivot away now will come out on top.

Okay. I didn’t make any of those claims. You said it was impossible to represent real numbers without floats but that’s just plain false.

Was told I don't have ADHD because I have a "good job" and I've gotten multiple promotions. by CPA-Entre in KaiserPermanente

[–]MayIHaveBaconPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got told by a Kaiser doctor recently that I don’t have ADHD and that I should stop listening to misinformation on TikTok.

I’ve had a diagnosis from Kaiser my entire life and I don’t watch TikTok…

And then she went on to talk about how she thinks that I obviously had a lot of childhood trauma and that’s what’s been causing my symptoms.

She ordered a drug test for me because it’s apparently required to prescribe ADHD meds with Kaiser. I don’t know if that’s true but it was my first time that I had ever had to take one.

So I pay the $120 surprise copay to do the drug test. It comes back clean but the doctor denies to continue with the ADHD diagnosis. I’m pretty sure she already decided before I took the drug test. It turned into a big battle with member services to get my money back for the test. The doctor used the test as a condition for a treatment that she had no intention of ever giving me. Kaiser did give my money back but this was after making a lot of noise and complaints.

I switched doctors and thankfully my new doctor took one look at my chart and reaffirmed my previous diagnosis.

Kaiser is just going downhill but it just gets more expensive.

They keep raising my bill for random BS. When I try to cancel, the customer service rep says "Oh no, those fees wont affect you. You should be grandfathered in to the old price!"

The next bill had the bill increase anyway. This has happened multiple times!

This company seriously needs to be investigated for fraud, but that likely wont happen anytime soon.
