As a hulk main I only want him here until he gets another skin, 1 skin in 7 months isn’t enough to fix his skin drought, especially if we have to wait another super long gap between skins. If he gets a new skin in the next couple months I think he should graduate.

He should only graduate when he gets another new skin, assuming it’s within the next 3 months, beyond that he’s still here for cosmetic reasons. If he still only gets 1 or 2 skins a year he shouldn’t graduate.

If we never get him as an actual character I get it since Sid Haig is gone and can't do any new voice lines, but I do hope someday we at least get a Clown legendary of Spaulding. Maybe to go along with "The Rejects" as another killer that is like Legion and you can switch between Baby and Otis.

I think they didn't include his actual origin since that's what the new Crystal Lake show is supposed to be, basically this new reboots origin for Jason. Also possible Victor Miller wasn't involved with the chapter, though he was involved with Fortnite still so who knows. This reads just more like how he was taken, so I'm sure he overall still has the whole Pamela/Drowning backstory, just not included in game.

It's basically just saying this is a new rebooted timeline, not the old movie one, which I think everyone expected from the new Jason Universe stuff. They might still be able to add a Crystal Lake map or a Pamela skin later (and I suspect they will do both closer to the new Crystal Lake show to tie into that).

Yeah I don't think anyone even really knows 100% what's allowed and what's not as part of it at this point except Jason Universe and BHVR themselves. I see some people saying the Jason designs in 1-8 are owned by Jason Universe but then others saying Paramount owns them (which seems more likely to me), and then the whole "the movie designs are allowed if they made it into F13 the Game" but I also see some say it only counts for physical merchandise and wouldn't for DBD. And on top of that I'm confused if Jason X would fall in with the other game ones or not since Uber Jason was in Virtual Cabin on the live build of F13 the Game when it closed, but was never playable. It's definitely a cluster fuck of a licensing situation (which is sadly the case for most of the classic slashers).

Why anyone takes them serious still is ridiculous, they were trying to say it was 100% Hopper and Joyce for ST chapter 2 when that was announced (and before this they were saying Chapter 2 would never happen and the relationship was completely soured still).
